It is a great place for people to lend a hand to others. My family has been using MHM for the last year since our new baby was born, and we are excited to be able to donate some of her smaller clothes to help someone later on down the line.

A volunteer based service providing clothes, household items and all kinds of things for children. A great place to donate no longer used but in good condition cribs, bikes, car seats, strollers etc., etc. check for hours of operation before going.

I came back home to Bradenton after my divorce with my 4 children in tow.... New to being a single mom, no friends, no family no support system... I found myself at Mother's Helping Mothers, just when I thought I had NOWHERE to turn. (I couldn't have been more wrong!!!) I found a whole blended community with open arms ready to PROVIDE AND GUIDE me in the right direction to start over!!! From Martha, to all the volunteers, to all the moms in the Mother's Helping Mothers Facebook group, I am THANKFUL for ALL OF YOU!!!! MOTHER'S HELPING MOTHER'S is the best!!!!

Just be prepared to wait. Even if you have an appointment. It's a decent sized building but with the amount of people that was there, people were bumping into people, and kids were running and playing everywhere. It seemed as if they weren't used to the amount of people there, or maybe there had previously been some technical issues, as it seemed a little unorganized in the waiting area. Thankfully the volunteers/staff are all super nice and helpful, and the items are in pretty good condition, and there's tons of clothing for children and women and a couple for men too. And you can even volunteer too! It's a great group of people helping others
