I’ve shopped Lilly many times in several states and have never been treated so rudely. When I asked about a specific item I was told that the item was out of date and they had not carried the item for years. Item I was requesting was a current item on the Lilly Pulitzer website. They treated me as if I was not worthy of shopping in their store. Will not return.

This location made me feel so awkward. I’ve been there twice. I take clothes off hangers because of arthritis. The sales women reprimanded me. One of them yelled at me right at the register where the hanger was when I just handed it to another sales associate. Seems like they worry about theft and see every customer this way. Very-very uncomfortable experience. I will not go back to this particular store. I’ve shopped at Lilly for years and never experienced this. I’ll just buy online or from Saks in the future.

My family and I have been long time Lilly fans for quite some time. Our favorite memory is stopping by the store in St Armand’s square in Sarasota, Florida on our annual family vacation to Siesta Key. The men were given ice cold beers and women a glass of champagne and we would laugh, shop and leave with bags of new clothes and accessories to kick off the school year. The past few years, the customer service is lacking greatly at this store to a point it is distinctly memorable year after year. Not one employee greeted our family with the simple gesture of a smile or how can I help you?Today was the icing on the cake when my three year old daughter needed to use the restroom. Considering we had been to this store multiple times, I knew where the restroom was and took her straight there before an accident occurred. While my daughter is still using the restroom, there was a knock at the door and I opened it assuming it was my mother who followed us and was checking on us, but it was an employee. This employee proceeded to tell me while my daughter is still using the restroom that the restroom is not for customers use. I was completely perplexed and still replaying it through my head that she didn’t immediately apologize and shut the door as she could visibly see my daughter using the restroom(Disgusting). She proceeded to go on that it’s a corporate policy because of “covid” and that we could not use the restroom. The excuses were flowing and I finally shut the door after confirming that the ladies name was Mary. We get out of the restroom and walk to my mother who is checking out and I asked to speak to a manager. One of the ladies was a shift manager and they said the store manager was at lunch. The shift manager when asked where their customers should use the restroom told us that we could have used the public restroom in the parking garage a block away from their store. My daughter and I left the store and my mother stayed to return her items because she couldn’t support someone who treats their customers with this much disrespect. About that time, the other manager was back and started spitting off excuses that the plumbing was bad and if we just would have asked (if you have a 3 year old who needs to go number two, you don’t ask, you get them to a restroom immediately no questions asked) they would have made an “exception”. Truly disheartening experience today and sadly we will not be returning to this location. It was very surprising to see that we were not the only ones with poor customer experience based on the Google reviews. We know what it’s like to be treated well by employees at Lilly stores and this one should be an embarrassment to the Lilly Pulitzer name.Hoping this brings a spotlight to this store and allows corporate to bring attention to the employees that our representing their brand.

Lilly Pulitzer Siesta Key Siesta Village Plaza 5118 Ocean Blvd Sarasota, FL 34242 Though it be little, its fierce! I've shopped this location since its opening & ever after. We've shopped St.Armands which is 5x size but 1/4 personality. My mama is an islander local on SK, she shops weekly. We've seen a lot come & go over time. Prints & styles, people too. Watched employees who're there to dip toes in retail b4 they know what they'll want to do, b4 they sink or swim, all the way to the ones who're doing what they love for a company/culture that's engrained in them. Out of all the "seasons" I've never been so impressed & truly enamored by a Lilly employee. This store has a gem, she be little herself, but full in heart & mind with her knowledge & passion for this iconic brand. Her name is Madeline. She is a glowing, kind & genuine soul, smiling, walking rolodex of all seasons Lilly. All styles Lilly. Past & present. The lady knows all regular & repeat customers favorites, tastes, knows every single piece name, even for helping just the walk in first timer, future Lilly lover, shopper. She is knowledgeable for not just ladies, but men & littles too, which means so much bc I'm a mama & a wife, so I need help with them all. I'll call the store from states away & give her a pathetic description, within seconds she rattles off what i'm looking for, whether they have it, & if not sources the item for me! She's a walking billboard for Lilly's brand. She lives and represents the brand. Brains and beauty. Inside and out. Very professional! She could run the store blind folded, front end & back. Down to styling the mannequins to give customers inspiration for putting together whole looks. I honestly never thought someone was more meant for a career in this business. I've seen her walk circles around what her managers have tried helping me with. I've literally drop jawed @ watching her upper management asking her advice on basic Lilly info to assist me when they've approached me to ask if i need help. Makes me smile & hits home, because she's so young. it reminds me of where I started in my career, I worked in vet pharmaceuticals & ag. I was a female & youngest & nobody took a girl in my line of work seriously, but little did they know I grew up with fire & passion for the culture, people, & industry I was in. So I was more invested & more an asset because I was living out my passion! I feel a kindred soul with Madeline. I hope she is never taken for granted because of her age, size, or sex, because she is the secret ingredient to that location! So there's my two cents on the MVP of the siesta key store. But I won't leave out that Batman always has a Robin & Lilly Pulitzer herself, always had Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. Well, if Madeline is Lilly, then Michelle is her Jackie O.! That lady is the happiest most soak it all up (learning Lilly) walking sunshine I've seen! I visit with kids & all in tow. She's always smiling & chatting my babies up. She's a retired teacher of over 25 years. What I'd call a whistle while you work kind of employee. She can be steaming dresses, folding & placing new inventory, but never misses a chance to talk with my children and my family. She looks so excited seeing us try on items like she's opening a gift on Christmas every time we come out of the dressing room to show her & Madeline our newest finds. My kids are 7 & 8, their whole life I've taken them everywhere shopping. Lilly SK's always been a place I knew they'd not fuss at having to go. Mostly in part to the fact they offer a kid's coloring table and coloring wall. Our last visit in the store I was saddened to see the new manager had removed all coloring utensils. Michelle saw how sad they were & quickly rectified the situation & made the kids day as well as this mama & gathered some

The store is really big, and they always have a great selection. I hardly ever walk out empty handed. They also occasionally have snacks and drinks, which is really helpful when I bring my husband along.

1st time in Lilly Pulitzer store. Love an Origin Story. Here's hers: 1950s, she ran Juice Stands. Juices stained everything she wore. In desperation, she designed coloful, patterned shift dress. Customers went batty for dresses. She somehow manages to successfully combine colors that I would hate together but I don't hate them. I love them. Her clothes are bold, flowing & stylish. Her store excudes exuberance and flair. Tired when I entered, exhilarated when I left. It's ain't cheap, my friends but it's fun.

Great store. A lot more here than at the UTC location. The employees were great and one even entertained my kiddo while I tried on a couple things. Definitely coming back to this location

The decline of this company is really sad. My mom and I used the come and buy matching print dresses together when I was little. Everything they had was high quality resort wear. Now? The store is pleasant and the sales people are nice but the clothes are just ugly. Sorry, but why don't they revive so e of the original LP prints? When Lilly was still alive, the quality was evident. But I am guessing that s company has been sold. I don't know what their designers are thinking. It's really a shame.
