Light Up Your Life is located on the East side of Tamiami Trail, just South of SRQ airport. Huge selection of lights???, lots of fans and decorative pieces. ?? Very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous staff ? ? ? unless you know what you want / need; you should allow some time to walk through the options ?

Light Up Your Life is without question the best lighting store in Sarasota if you are looking for quality modern fixtures. They stand behind their product as I have just experienced. Monika succeeded in championing my request for the replacement of a damaged fixture with the vendor who was reluctant to accommodate. I would highly recommend the store and its professional staff.

Beautiful store and nice sales people but insufficient attention to detail. Defective product delivered and not checked, orders not properly reviewed and submitted through vendors resulting in delays and additional expense.

Our sales associate, Inga Olafsson, took a genuine interest in guiding us to exactly what we were looking for - the result was fixtures complimentary to our existing home style and appearance.

Chinese company. Poor quality fabrics for clothing and poor fit. You can't really return anything because they're in China!

Debbie assisted me in purchasing a pendant light for my new kitchen. She was most knowledgeable and accommodating. My kitchen will not be ready for 4 months. I asked if I could postpone picking it up, and if they would store it for me. The purchase was made, paid in full. On April 7, Erin called and said that they would charge $43. a month to store it for me! When I said I should wait for a later date to purchase, she replied that "the price could go up." They waited until the purchase was completed to tell me. Not good business.

We had an issue with a recessed LED fixture which was resolved after much difficulty and time by the company from which our general contractor purchased all our recessed lights. We are having the same issue again with one of the lights. Our general contractor contacted Monika Oberer at Light Up Your Life to see if they could help us. We were familiar with Light Up Your Life as we purchased lamps and fixtures from them in the past and had been uniformly pleased with their inventory, knowledge, assistance and service. So we thought this was a terrific idea.We were able to speak with Monika on short notice and she had the expertise and a contact at the manufacture to quickly put us on the path to resolving the issue.

What a great store. The salesperson Robin was so knowledgeable and full of ideas. The inventory is great, with many unique pieces that I have not seen. I purchased a full length listed mirror but plan to get more pieces for home now under construction. A gem!!!
