I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter and her fiancé. It was for their 22nd Golden birthday! They custom made the cake to tell their story of how they met and their journey so far together. It was amazing and delicious! I will be back and am so thankful for this great bakery in our community!

The cake was better than anticipated and they were so accommodating. I suck at making decisions so I was thrilled when he offered popular suggestions. The Oreo filling was a hit, everyone loved it. I will always get my cakes here from now on!

I ordered a Hedgehog cake that my brother-in-law saw a picture of 3 days before his birthday and loved it. Not only did Sarasota Cakes come through for me with that short of notice, but they also went out of their way to locate chocolate covered pretzels for the quills, even though I told them regular pretzels would be ok, especially given the short notice! The cake was an exact copy of the photo and my brother-in-law was thrilled. The cake was absolutely delicious and moist and the frosting and filling were to die for!! They have our business from now on and I can’t recommend them enough!! Wonderful and helpful staff as well!!

I would 100% recommended A Slice of Heaven for any special occasion! Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we asked for! Sarasota cakes was wonderful to work with! They made our wedding cake and four different flavors of cupcakes! The pricing was great, the cake and cupcakes looked fantastic and even tasted better than they looked! We ordered way more than we thought we would need, and were so happy that a few were left over so we could take them home after our wedding day!

We had the most amazing cake last night. We live in Illinois and I ordered a cake for my grandaughter’s wedding in Venice, Florida from Sarasota Cakes via the internet and phone. The cake was absolutely beautiful; the sugar shells looked real. And let’s talk about the taste !!! Thomas suggested the tuxedo layers with raspberry and vanilla amaretto fillings. DELICIOUS !!! The cake was delivered to Sharkys on the Pier and was ready for us following the wedding. What a pleasure to work with such a gifted professional. Thank you Thomas. The cake was truly a “Slice of Heaven “.
