Make sure that you have an appointment. Otherwise, you might get turned away. This was the only location in Sarasota that was on the scheduling for my company drug test. I called the number and the automated service said no appointments are needed. The lady I had to deal with was not very friendly or happy that I didn't know I needed an appointment. Upon looking at their website to schedule, it wouldn't have worked as I needed a drug test within two days...and they only had appointments a week out. I think they need more staff! I will mention that she did take me, but grumbled about it saying that she wasn't supposed to take walk ins.

The ladies were so friendly. I was a walk in, but did not wait more than 15 minutes. Definitely recommend!

I use this LABCORP at Walgreens at least once a month. I avoid going on Mondays. Don't know why but Monday seems to be the busiest morning. I try to get there there between 8 & 9 a.m. to avoid those trying to get tested before reporting to work. The electronic kiosk sign-in is relatively simple and quick. I rarely wait as much as 10 minutes. The "Flea-bottomless" are quite good, but must do a LOT of PC input. I don't recommend that you go there as it may cause me a longer wait.

The technician had a terrible attitude. Very cold hearted. I guess I interrupted his lunch break even though I had an appointment and was texted that they were ready for me. He was checking his watch and was rough with my arm. Would not recommend if you wanna be treated with respect and compassion.

Made an appointment online for a glucose tolerance test only to get all the way there and they tell me they don’t offer those tests there. They said they called to tell me, they did not.

Located inside Walgreens. They were not busy when I went as a walk-in and they took me right away. Fast, easy friendly people and painless. That's what I like!

I appreciate the convenience of the Labcorp located in Walgreens on Bee Ridge Rd. I had a walk in appointment, signed in as such electronically, and was seen within minutes. There were chairs for waiting and the staff was friendly. Additionally, the person who conducted my blood draw, performed it seamlessly. Overall good experience.

I emailed the corporate office trying to keep this matter in house but as I never received a response I have come here. I had the worst and most offensive experience getting blood drawn for tests at this location. I am a trans woman and upon discovering this the person drawing my blood asked me to remove my mask so that they could see my face. Once I did she commented that "I couldnt even tell with your mask on". She told me that "men becoming women can work sometimes but during the rest of my experience she gave me her opinions about how you could always tell with trans men. Though her words were much more offensive as she seemed incapable of gendering trans men correctly even when I tried correcting her. I tried to disagree calmly but with a needle in my arm I felt a bit trapped and as though I was unable to freely and thoroughly express my disgust with her ignorance. I was suppose to take my blood pressure to give to my Dr. that same day and was unable to do so as the anxiety of being outed, misgendered, and having my trans siblings insulted to my face kept my blood pressure too high to report until the next day. As trans patients on hormones often need lab services it was shocking that LabCorp had such poor training on these matters. Even more disheartening was that corporate felt no reason to respond to my direct complaint.

I do not recommend Labcorp. I went to this Lab corp on July 31st, 2021 for routine bloodwork supposedly covered by my insurance. I was asked to present my credit card by the lady attending first before having routine bloodwork done. My insurance company confirmed with me the day before going that this is a preventative care procedure and should be covered, but Labcorp charged me an additional $40 without confirming this beforehand and charged my husband an additional $48 and the answer we received from Labcorp is a "pass the buck" type answer. Please see images attached. Beware to pay more than you expect at Labcorp!!!
