Although the front desk's Sara is very friendly, the product service is very poor. We received inferior materials. Despite agreeing to return the goods, the manager refused to refund the delivery fee.If I return the goods because I don't like them, I should bear the delivery fee. However, if the quality of the goods is poor, then I should request a refund of the delivery fee.I wasted $80 experiencing terrible service and gained nothing in return.The left items will be not usable because of the damaged beam. Just keep it and remember not to go there again!

easy to shop, prices good, love how you can drive thru and look for what you need and look for the quality then go inside and pay and go back to your vehicle and they help load your stuff.

Customer service is non-existent. Salespeople are unprofessional. Over a period of 3 weeks, I stopped in 5 times to speak with the interior door salesperson. I was told the salesperson isn't in today, each time. Maybe the exterior salesman can, but they are busy right now... you can wait or make an appt. I waited for 45 mins, then left. 3 times I tried making an appt online for a call back... to schedule an appt with a salesperson, never received a phone call. I stopped in again, asked for the interior door salesman only to be told he has been on vacation, but he'll be back tomorrow. Finally on a Wednesday, I was able to speak with the salesman, special ordered the doors, and asked how soon can I pick up the trim. He said I'll call you Friday. He never called, I called in the afternoon only to find out they closed at noon. They are closed Sat/Sun. Monday morning I called, left the salesman a message. Again, no return call. Tuesday he called to tell me the doors are in. I asked when will the trim be ready and he said it's always been ready. We have that in stock, you could have picked that up anytime... (Wait what??? He told me he'd call... and didn't). So I went to pick them up, and they were the wrong doors. I told the salesman what I wanted, he wrote the order. I will take responsibility for not double checking what he wrote.... Special orders are pay in advance. No refunds. No returns. They could care less. The salesman said he thought I was ordering the doors for a different job, not the one I had been describing and talking about since the first conversation. Really??? I spoke of nothing other than 96" textured cathedral doors... with the same project name, why would you order me plain doors...? He said "You signed it". Caught in a time crunch, I had to special order the doors again, this time triple checking the order. Never again. I will not recommend Kimal Lumbar to anyone, ever.

No contractor perks at all.. Expensive for many items, for example $76 a sheet for 3/4inch advantec flooring 4x8 sheets vs $43 a sheet at Lowes (10/2023). Wants to get paid in 10 days, before customers are billed. Inadequate/unfriendly service. Called our assigned contractor rep (Dave Nero) for pricing (who has never contacted us in many years) and was told "maybe if you buy more materials we can talk about pricing". There really aren't any benefits or value propositions for contractors to purchase products here over Lowe's, where you receive 5% back, gift cards for using them, and a point perk system. Pretty much the only reason that we would choose Kimal in the future is if the product isn't available at Lowe's or HD. Step up your perk-game and quality-of-service for your local contractors, Kimal!!

Great people, I was courteously greeted as soon as I entered the door, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and very outgoing. I was there around lunchtime, I was offered a piece of pizza! Greet people, great atmosphere, I'll definitely return whenever I need building materials. I highly recommend Kimal Lumber of sarasota.

We had some serious delivery issues with Kimal until Bob stepped in and took control. We still had to navigate through some challenges but Bob Stayed on the course we eventually got to the finish line. Tough staffing issues in this marekt but I did appreciate the genuine concern and eventual success...thank you Bob.

Customer service is the only issue here. Drove 2 hours RT in our snowbird traffic to get here.. guy at the door (very polite) stated they were closed because they were doing inventory.. on a Friday, a little over a week to Christmas. It would have been nice if they had updated their hours on google, instead I'm told, they had a sign posted inside.Other times you call and call and call and no one answers the phone. Or, you take your items to check out and there is no one at the register, you walk over to the offices and try to find someone, you walk over to the warehouse and have to ask around.Three stars strictly because they offer wood and tools you can't really find in too many places.Two stars because they add a surcharge if you are paying by credit card.

I order trim to be delivered. They delivered the wrong trim and I had to take pictures of what they delivered to show they made a mistake. After all that they still haven't delivered the correct trim.
