TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE; DO NOT SUPPORT KAY. My husband and I have been the victims of a predatory lending situation with Kay Jeweler's loan service provider. We had such a beautiful memory of picking out my engagement ring and wedding band back in May 2023, and now the entire experience is ruined by their mistreatment of our plea for help. You would think that spending $10k+ at their establishment would merit a decent relationship.My husband financed a portion of the rings and made sure to make all the required payments on time through his last payment over the course of a year. When he went to make his final payment, he was hit with an almost $1,700 fee (almost 34% of the original loan amount instead of what should have been the outstanding balance if there were a final fee) for not paying off the rings within the 0% interest time frame, but he did pay them off in time. He spoke with their customer service and was threatened with them doubling the fees for every subsequent month of not being paid in full. Customer service was awful and refused to speak with him regarding the issue after several phone calls back and forth, which prompted us to reach out to the Kay Jewelers' team at UTC to seek advice on how to handle the matter. We immediately paid off the additional $1,700 out of fear of getting hit with a doubled fee the month after. Kay Jewelers said they would speak with their corporate office to see if they could look into the issue and help us figure something out. They asked us to email their corporate representative directly, and after which we have not heard anything back from the rep. After calling and visiting the Kay Jewelers store several times over the last three months to follow up with the issue and not hearing back, we are motivated to share our awful experience via Google reviews to save you from making a huge mistake.Shop local and save yourself from being treated like trash. Thank you to Kay Jewelers for tarnishing our beautiful memory. I look down at my rings now and feel anger and regret.

CAUTION: DO NOT FINANCE. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Kay Jewelers has opted to partner with a predatory finance company. You sign up for their 0% payment plan, make all of the necessary payments on time, and get slapped with a deferred interest charge of over a THOUSAND DOLLARS (over 34% of the original cost in our case). We are currently in the process of filing claims for predatory lending practices with the government. The loan company support is based in India and are extremely rude, unwilling to work with you at any point. The store is dodging our phone calls as we are trying to get some sort of answer with Kay corporate. I will NEVER bring my business to Kay ever again. Disgusting.

Had an issue with my "Jewlery Box" acct for the inspection warranty on my diamonds. Dana was amazing; she explained and fixed my account issue. She also offered text reminders for when it comes due again! Thank you Dana! ?

Kay Jewelers is always our favorite!!! I just got my wedding ring serviced there and it is more shiny than ever. The quality of there work is impeccable. I appreciate the employees who take such good care of all the items and there friendliness. Peg is an exceptional employee at Kay Jewlers and we thank her for her kindness and help!
