We bought our lamp and rug from Max last year and fell in love with it. Not only was Max so incredibly kind and loving, but we make sure to stop by every year we are in town to say hello and see what treasures he has to offer. This year we bought 4 beautiful plates to hang in our kitchen! Can't wait to see the final look. Make sure to stop by when you are looking at all the shops in St. Armands Circle, by far the best in our opinion.

Max makes this wonderful space of his feel like yours as you step into it. A true gentleman and scholar, he and Ata are the definition of welcoming and helpful. His selection of goods is vast, and he backs it up with an encyclopedic knowledge gained through decades of experience. We purchased a carpet for our new townhome, and can’t wait to furnish the rest of it from Karavan.

What a great place! There are so many unique and gorgeous items in this store. If you're looking for something for yourself or for a gift this is a great place to shop. We went in earlier in the week and had a great experience. I was so excited to see the huge selection of "all seeing eye" items. The gentleman working the store was so kind and helpful.

Max is an incredible person who made me feel right at home as I walked through the doors of his lovely shop. I have been treated like family ever since and he even hand delivered (from FL to PA) the rugs that I had bought for my store from him. I cannot wait to purchase more items from him in the future. We purchased a 51 globe chandelier from Max. We love it! Max helped us select the correct size for our 28’ ceiling. The chandelier was delivered from factory to our house in perfect condition. Beautiful! Pictures can’t do it justice!! Highly recommend!

I was in the store with my two sisters about a week ago. We enjoyed the best shopping experience with Max. I went intentionally to revisit his glass lamps from Turkey that I had seen on a previous trip to Sarasota. Max was so accomodating with helping me choose the right glass lamp shades for the chandelier that I had chosen. I couldn't be happier with my choices, and cannot say enough regarding Max's attention to customer service. My sisters now want to go back and buy lamps for their homes, thank you Max for giving us exemplary service. We will continue to buy from you!

Stopped into Karavan Treasures From Turkey while strolling St. Armands Circle one evening after dinner with friends. My wife and I became enamored with the colorful Turkish Mosaic Glass lanterns. We purchased a hanging lantern for our entry, and a floor lamp for the living room.Max was very accommodating, allowing us to switch several of the glass globes to ensure that we were happy with the color combination.He delivered both lamps the following Monday morning, and installed the ceiling lamp in the entry for a minimal charge.When we discovered that the floor lamp was too small for the living room, he took the original lamp back and allowed us to exchange it for a larger one that worked much better for that space. And again, we were able to mix and match the globe colors until we found the perfect combination for our tastes.Very happy with our purchases and we feel like Max is now family.Ten Stars!KarlBradenton, Florida
