Great place to go if looking to adopt, or just visit the animals. The employees are very kind, and all the animals seem well cared for & comfortable. We were able to sit in a room and interact with 2 disabled cats who are treated like royalty. Love going here just to visit the animals.

Very caring volunteers. Nice accessible and well-lit facility well maintained and safe. The process is pretty easy to adopt highly recommended.

Me and my dog (Kiwi) had the opportunity to see Dr. Santiago. It was a really nice experience since we stepped in at the office. Front desk girls were very kind and the vet tech was super patient and nice with Kiwi since she’s very nervous. Dr. Santiago was very helpful answering all my questions and concerns. 100% recommend him and his crew for your pets!!!

I do not recommend adopting from this location, they do not properly disclose an animals past/behavior. We had found a wonderful cat but once we got the cat home it started showing signs of food aggression towards my other cat and Toddler (swatting/hissing/eating all he could). We contacted the shelter that got us with a cat behavioralist that advised us that this cat would not be a good fit us. After countless calls we got an appointment to surrender the cat, just to see two days later that they have him listed as a good family cat, good with kids, and other cats/dogs. Nothing in his description that he has food aggression or he shouldn’t be in a home with cats or kids. The next family will have to go through the same situation as we did.

We adopted a 1 year old pup a couple of weeks ago. HCSC is a wonderful facility. It's clean and the animals seem well cared for. The employees and volunteers are so nice, knowledgeable and helpful. We won the lottery with the pup we adopted, exceeding all expectations. He has quickly become a valued member of our family.
