Worst service ever. I wish that I can give a zero star. I got a vehicle with them through GEICO and the representative has no matters. He was very rude from our first encounter to the last one. They don’t communicate between offices and they expect you to solve everything through corporate saying that it is not their business

Rude. Guy is arrogant. Made reservation. They only accept if you have major credit card. Debit/credit card not accepted. Cash and U.S. currency not good enough. The guy working there doesn’t even care. Took my week rental to Enterprise. Deuces.

Really poor customer service. They over charged me claiming I never returned the car. Don’t they have cameras?!!! Make sure to pay attention this place is a scam.

Returned the car. Didn’t get a receipt they said they would email. Then they charged me for an extra week saying I never returned the car. Crazy, will never rent hertz again.

I feel as though there was no price transparency and they take advantage of the fact that they can change the contact whenever. I called ahead to change my drop off location (originally TPA) and they said no problem, come whenever. During drop off, they were efficient and emailed me my receipt. At no point, during the call or the drop off, was I told there would be an extra charge. Not only was I charged more than twice the original rate (~$300 difference), but was also not honored the US government rate as this was for business travel. I understand there was a change in contract but had I been notified the amount difference (or that there was even a charge) I definitely wouldn’t have done this.

Marijuana smell permeated vehicle from beginning to end, despite all efforts to get rid of it, windows front and back were highly smoke stained (and pictures were captured, attached here for example) and were difficult to see out of especially with glare from Florida sun, rental agent at check in was highly dismissive and rude plus tried to deceive by adding extra charges (coverages) that were never presented nor discussed, then tried to blame third party Kayak when told was in error, only to 'acquiesce', begrudgingly, to cover the attempt, when informed screenshots of all screens from Kayak and Hertz were captured and on file showing correct charges, and that was a leisure rental but provided Gold status identification (and entire exchange was captured by audio due to extreme nature ie attempted theft). Adding insult to attempted injury, agent who answered phone (same as check in by sound) said do not pick up at location requested, however agent at turn in (a manager) said pick up (and drop off) is available (which had been done in past), due to turn in agent seeing customer with son on bikes to get home (over 18 miles round-trip roughly, due to highly circuitous route, for safety). In short, caveat emptor i.e. buyer beware.

Although I’ve had issues at this branch before, I’ve decided to praise and applaud their new manager Andrew M, who came through for me , finding a vehicle of my choice. Andrew has an outstanding customer service skill, keeping his calm and professionalism to satisfy the customer.
Kudos to Andrew for a job well done?? Thank you!

Brett is the man! Don’t read these reviews, they had me panicked I needed to make it there by 4:30 or they would shut me out. No line, hooked me up with a Tesla. Best Hertz ever!

Was set to return a car here on a Saturday. Show up, and the place is empty and locked. They close at noon on Saturday’s. Called customer service and couldn’t get ahold of a real person for help. No key drop box or way to return. Had to drive all the way to the airport to return. Horrible.
