Do not go to this mechanic. Jesus is taking advantage of people. He will try to charge you double the labor than needed. He broke a part on my car while checking out the problem. Then he tries to charge me for his mistake. I would stay far away from this place. He charges twice the labor cost compared to Stickney Auto and isn't half the mechanic. I would give this shop 0 star if I could.

I am a mechanically inclined individual. I usually work on my own stuff. Recently I’ve been too busy so I have had to find someone. These guys are honest, straightforward, trustworthy, and communicate clearly on prices and estimates. These might be the best mechanics in Sarasota.Services: Transmission

If you are looking for an HONEST mechanic that won’t over charge you, I highly recommend you go to Herpan Auto!Very impressed with the service we received here, My boyfriends BMW sat outside for over 2 years, had multiple issues and we brought it here to get fixed up so he could sell it to my mom who was going to drive it 1,700 miles back to NE… they did an amazing job fixing the car to make it driveable again, they didn’t waste any time, we needed it ready in 2-3 weeks and it was ready just in time! My mom made it back to New England with no issues at all, and the car ran great the whole time!THANKYOU to Herpan auto for all your help!!☺️

Jesus, Luis and his staff are always accommodating and professional. Jesus and his staff care about the customer and do an amazing job. They even offer towing, not roadside or emergency, so if you need your car towed for a reasonable price within Sarasota, be sure to inquire should you need this service. Thank you.

We go back & forth all year long from Indiana & keep a vehicle in Sarasota at our condo. Back in May '22, our van's a/c was not working when we arrived. I found Herpan online. I called & talked to Jesus. He said bring it in now. I was expecting to wait a few hours. Jesus greeted me & worked me in quickly. He communicated to me what was going on, how to fix & the cost. He was gracious, honest & fixed the issue promptly! I took one of his cards, thanked him & told him he has our business in the future- it was a very pleasant experience, instead of what could've been stressful. I would recommend Herpan Auto in a heartbeat!

I urge everyone to stay away from Jesus and his Mechanic shop. Total rip off, said one price at the beginning then came back after 2 hours and he decided to charge me $200 for diagnostics. His little 17 year olds kids have no clue what they are doing. Anytime you will go there, you will waist hours of your valuable time and nothing will be guaranteed as done.OVERPRICED SHOP WITH SHADY WORK PRACTICES.IF I WOULD HAVE A CHANCE TO GIVE LESS THEN ONE STAR I WOULD.SHOP LIKE THIS WILL BE OUT OF BUSINESS SOON.Services: Electrical repair

I’m in town from IL and my granddaughter drove from Cape Coral to see us. 5 min prior to her arrival her back tire starting smoking. It was 440 and I had to find a shop that would drop what they were doing the next morning and take a look at her jeep. You see we were flying back to IL 2 days later and my granddaughter had to get home. I explained the situation and he was so gracious and helpful after explaining the situation that I felt at ease. He said mam I will take care of it. After getting her car towed to the shop that night Jesus called me the next day and it was a bit more involved than what we thought. Nonetheless Jesus said I’ll have it done but it will be about 5 hours. As promised we showed up to the shop and my eyes teared up seeing all the cars on the premises waiting to be fixed. He stated I stopped everything to get her safe and back home. He was honest, helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our 1 day together while he fixed her car. If you are in need of a local shop don’t hesitate for 1 minute to go see Jesus. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I’ll be forever grateful.Service: General repairs & maintenance

As my husband and I were coming down south on the 75, our car started shaking and acting funny. We found this auto shop on Google and luckily our car was able to make it. We mentioned to Jesus, who's the owner, that we were on our way back home from our vacation. He was very nice, and automatically did a diagnostic on the car, told us what we needed, and gave us a quote. So we gave him the ok to fix our car. Since they were closing shop within 30min of us getting there, he did not hesitate to order the part for us, work on our car, and get us back on the road. Can I just say how pleased my husband and I are!!!! We are so blessed to have found this shop. Very grateful to Jesus and all his staff. Definitely recommend this place.
