“Detweilers has the best produce, seafood, bakery goods, ice cream, meats, and cheeses. Packaged food items, custom sandwiches, salads, and sushi. Not all products are reasonable, as with any store, but you have lots of choices for many specialty items. It's a fun perusal when shopping for your weekly vittles, plus the samples are better than Costco!”
“Love this indoor market. Everything is so fresh and friendy employees. A rude lady asked if the express lane was 2 or 1. I said one and she went in front of me. Rude B go back home where u belong”
“I love this market so much! I can’t say enough about it. They have so many options including gluten-free, organic, non-gmo and many higher quality Asian food and health food. I use their purple sweet potato powder and white sweet potato powder for a flour alternative in baking and absolutely love it! I like how they work with local farms and other businesses so I know I’m getting good quality ingredients. They have high quality rice and they make their own kimchi and sauces which puts my mind at ease because most bottles of sauces go through so much transportation before ever getting to the store. I also take their immunitea blend with the black turmeric and haven’t had to take Advil for my headaches anymore. Their persimmon leaf tea too and turmeric tea are so so good and give me the energy I need throughout the day. Coming here I feel taken cared of. Thank you! ?”
“By far, the best supplied European food store we discovered in Florida . Not very clean, products not properly selected and arranged on shelves. Need patience to find the right product immediately. 3 stars only due to lack of cleanliness, otherwise recommended.Returned after one year. Store improved a lot , changed from 3 to 4 stars , but there is an issue with the prices posted. The problem was that cashier did not know the real price for fresh baklava prepared in the house when she asked us to pay for a small slice a price which did not match the price given to us by the kitchen cook of course higher and illogical. We gave up but wanted to update this review”
“I've always lived and loved public they have the freshest produce, the yummiest hot food, and their deli is great... ask the different cuts are amazing. “DetWiler Farms is one of the funnest grocery stores ever. It is tradition with my family to go to DetWiler's Saturday evening just before closing for Yoder's ice cream cones and some 2 for one fresh baked goods. The deli sandwiches are great. The produce and fruit are second to none. The extensive selection of organic jellies and candies and hard to find sodas are fun. How many other grocery stores are a destination itself?”
“I'm a former crew member... I worked at the big cat habitat. They're in Sarasota ...and enjoyed shopping for some of the finest meats and some of the most marvelous produce fruits and to talk about the bakery. Well that's just another story and as it was so convenient for many of the on-premise and residence at the big cat habitat, equality, insurance and the friendly atmosphere and employees makes it a five-star and beyond place to be doing your shopping. It was very convenient and I'm sorry to say that I had to leave the big cat habitat, but I know Kay rosier and so many of the other wonderful people there the big cat Habitat shop there at. Thank you for your business and may it always expand and may always be what people need. Thank you very much. If I return, I will certainly be buying all groceries there. Absolutely, I promise. Good day and peace on Earth and stop the wars and hear the thunder and patronize the big cat habitat as often as often as you can. You can't see it in one day. The families will love it. HBC clerk is very helpful and she made every effort to find my products all was great except my experience with cashier (Pandora) not a pleasant person. Not sure why her attitude was very negative. I’ll make sure to not go through her line again. Publix is the best company very much a family.”
“First visit there. Always thought you had to be a member or retailer to shop there but it is open to the public. They carry most anything you could want but most of it is bulk packaging. Prices are about the same as any grocery store,some lower price some higher price. Nice clean store friendly people. I'll shop there again.”

“A wonderful grocery shopping experience. This Publix is super clean and they have anything you are looking for to complete your shopping. Each department beginnng with the floral area is beautifully presented, next the fresh produce is clean fully stocked, nothing is hard to find. The seafood, meat and poultry are displayed in brighly lit cases, the selection is totally mouth-watering. Available to you are associates to answer questions, direct you to your needed items, making sure you get exactally what you are looking to add to your purchase. The bakery is exceptional so many yummy choices. This Publix gets a BIG 5 stars.”

“I actually bought six stale donuts, I asked for two of three different kinds of donuts, once I got to work I discovered they were stale. I returned them as soon as I got off my job. I was very surprised. I mentioned at the customer service desk that someone needs to talk to the bakery department.”

“I absolutely love Publix. The food is always fresh, and everything tastes so good. Everything! Even the non- perishable items taste better than other grocery stores. This was my first time shopping at a publix while on vacation, because there aren't any where I live. At first I was a little surprised at how much more expensive the food is here, but after eating the food, I quickly realized why the prices are a little more than most places...bc it really is so much better! I really wish they would expand to other areas beyond the south/ eastern areas. Or at least in my city!”

“I arrived at the place because they recommended the sancocho there. A Latin dish that in my country (Cuba) is known as CALDOSA And I fell in love with that Colombian flavor and style that I found in that broth. The Colombian meat empanadas were fried for me at the moment. Very good service from the young employee who attended to me from the moment I walked through the door. A small but cozy place with an ethnic Colombian theme. I recommend it.And I'll be back”

“Everyone was so kind and nice, very knowledgeable when I had questions about the menu. It was our first time, and we were picking up a too good to go order. Decided we were going to get some sandwiches as well. We got a meatball sub, and then a sub that had grilled chicken, mushrooms, melted provolone cheese. Absolutely delicious, if I’m ever in the area again I will definitely stop by.”

“The goulash soup and the pork stew were very delicious, I ate goulash for the first time in America (after 11 years), which was like home. The service and the restaurant are also first class. The goulash soup is the authentic one that my mum used to make, we tried the pork stew and it was on point as well. The restaurant service and location is excellent. I would recommend it to anyone. “I love to shop at this little corner of the UK in Sarasota. They have all kinds of tasty sweets and cookies like shortbread Cadberry chocolate specialties from the UK and also blood pudding lots of good meats in the refrigerator to check out. They also sell Scottish kilts and lots of gift items for your favorite, outlander, Irish or Scottish person.”

“New Ownership for longtime Crescent Market. They have a great selection of beverages, dry goods and food. Fresh vegetables every day. Great meat counter - I bought fresh chicken and steak - one of the best ribeye steaks I have found -great for grilling. Great wine selection ! Coffee station, fresh baked treats daily. New owners are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend !”
