Everyone! Do not donate to the goodwill, esp this one. My brother is trying to do his best to get back in his feet. Hes working, he found a place to stay with a friend. Used his last 140.00 for rent and just needed a blanket, even offered them $4.00 and they insulted him and said they was going to call the cops. This is not a goodwill, this is a money hungry corporation. Dont be fooled by the name.
I get an email from goodwill after my review that people can go to one of the outreach places and get a voucher. Thats funny that no employees tell anyone that. How are people suppose to get to these outreach places if they dont have a car.

Jason, the manager today at Venice Island Goodwill would not discount broken shoes, literally the bottom on both shoes was coming off. I was willing to pay a discounted price and try to glue them (the shoe glue is $15-20). And another repair with the screw sticking out of the heel. he told me they are priced according and I said same price as all the other pairs?!? He replied, they are mossimo so yes. MOSSIMO IS A TARGET BRAND AND THEY WERE PROBABLY $20 NEW!!!! Went to another store and got a real name brand, Aldo, for $5 in great shape! not the first time this location has been ridiculous. Previously, my Mamaw wanted. a purse and there was no tag on it and they refused to sell it when we asked for a price because "it's not that simple".

I just dropped off several bags and boxes (Saturday 4/17/21). My stuff was nice and fairly new just because I'm moving and need to find a home for it. The kid that was working the one at Bayshore /CVS was so rude. I had to unload the car, then he threw the bags which a lot of it has glass and literally DUMPED the boxes out on the cart. That's not the way I take care of my belongings and don't expect it to be handled that way from an organization that's trying to make money on it. Not going to ever go back to that location

@goodwill. My wife and I went to the Goodwill Bargain Barn location today 11/23/19 for the first and last time. While shopping new items were brought out and patrons line up to shop new goods after they are brought out. While shopping some man used his body to shove my wife and ripped an item out of her hand. When she said something to him he smiled and laughed in her face. Later, other shoppers came to us and said he had been aggressive to other shoppers all day and management had done nothing. He had headphones on, a beard and tattoos on arms and legs. I asked him his name and he told me to quote "kiss off". Shame on Goidwill staff for allowing this to happen and continue! We will not be back where people are allowed to act like animals.

I was super upset with the morning guy working at donation center. They are usually awesome with helping pull stuff out my car. Today the guy just watched me remove six boxes and five bags of clothing books and toys. Did not help pull on thing out. I even made two remarks to maybe I could get help. He didn't say aword the whole time to me. Only asked if I needed a receipt. I will not be donating to Goodwill because of this.
