On June 14th of 2023, possibly around 2:30pm to 4pm my girlfriend and I walked into this place to look and possibily buy something to bring back home to Philly. It's a beautiful clean store and it had A/C ! As soon as I walked in one of the women that works there yells out " Here comes the Chinese"..I'm just walking and looking and my girlfriend came to me and asks, did you hear what she said. I said yes, but I didn't think anything of it. I guess I was still in shock . She was upset and I ask what did you hear? She replies that she heard the same thing I heard. Shame that these things still happens , but they do.And that was just one establishment that we encounter racism in St, Armands Circle that day.I don't know if that was the owner that said that or the employee. If it was the owner, then there's no help. It's genetic ( Racism )For the most part, our trip to Florida was Excellent.

I had been at the store onDec. 6th, 2022. Store was filled with interesting items to buy, great Xmas cards, candies, clothing good quality.I spent about $800 on few items and clothes for my boyfriend. The clerks working that day were fun and charming. Engaging and made it a fun experience. One pair of shorts for $105.00 did not fit. On Jan 11th we drove an hour back, to Sarasota, to exchange. I had it on my Apple Card, but not the actual receipt. In all the Christmas shopping and wrapping I miss placed thereceipt. The women at register was incredibly rude. Harsh. She let us exchange it for the exact item, but with reservation. My boyfriend came out of dressing room back to the register and stated the shorts fit and needed to wait for my girlfriend to finish the transaction. The clerk promptly said “You don’t need her!” Then handed him the bag.“Oh!” He says????We immediately left the store. I really had a few more things I was wanting to purchase. It’s a shame. We will never return. I can buy the cards and clothing on line. If she’s an employee she should be fired. If she’s the owner, she need sales training!

Love this store! Great customer service. Unique items in inventory. Even found a beautiful glass portrait of a Bichon Frise which my boyfriend purchased there for me. What a surprise. My favorite dog. I visit the store frequently because you never know what treasures you might find. I also appreciate the moral compass (politically) which they share publicly.

The owner is absolutely heinous and nasty. I would not give her money if I was on fire and she was the only person around with water. Learn how to treat people, not just as a business owner but as a person.. for your sake. I feel sorry for her and anyone who is unlucky enough to visit her shop. Good luck!

Lady running this place was quite a witch. My daughter dropped an item and was immediately told “you broke it you bought it”. You want people to come in your store you have to assume some risk. I will never frequent this place again and either should you.

Started to buy something. Then saw their political propaganda displayed and walked out. Stay clear of this store.

Unreasonable prices; eerie hospitality service; & customer service not the ideal; there will be a change! (:

This is a nice store but I was very disappointed this weekend how a situation was handled in store. My husband and I wanted to purchase an item and was asked if we could wait or come back some other time, because the manager was out at dinner. The piece we wanted to purchase had additional pieces to go with it and it was locked away. We stated we don’t live in the area and would like to purchase the item while we were there. The employee called the manager and while on the phone with her, told us the manager said she can’t sell us the piece. Nor were they willing to honor the price of the labeled pieces. As we left we saw the employee removing the price tags for the piece we wanted to purchase. My father in law recently passed and this was the perfect piece to place in our home to remember him. Hopefully we can find something similar at another place.
