Absolute worst customer service ever! I used the self checkout because there was no one there to check me out after waiting 10 minutes. I had a lighter therefore I needed someone who works there to bypass the self checkout so I could pay and leave with my things. After waiting over 10 minutes, I finally decided to go search for someone who works there to help me out. I flagged down one lady working in the back and said I needed help to check out and explained that I am on my lunch break so I am kind of in a hurry. She looked directly at me and completely ignored me as if I was a ghost that didn't exist. Then another woman named Carrie shouted over to me "I am on my way" in a very grouchy voice like she was irritated that I needed her to do her job. When I met Carrie at the front to checkout, she proceeds to completely ignore me and start helping a customer who was behind me in line. I said excuse me, but I have been waiting on someone to help me check out the last 15 minutes on my lunch break trying to get back to my job and asked if she could please help me first. Her response was extremely rude and she told me the first customer in line gets helped first. I told her I have been the first customer in line I have been waiting and waiting or else I wouldn't have gone searching for someone to help me in the store. She proceeds to tell me I am in the self checkout line and I can checkout myself while rolling her eyes at me. I told her I KNOW I am in the self checkout line but the system will not let me check out without assistance. She finally comes over to help me while rolling her eyes the entire time. When I am finally able to leave the store she tells me to have a nice day in a very snarky voice. I didn't say anything back and then she says, "OH, okay well never mind then" and starts laughing. I could have easily walked out of that store with all my stuff and not paid for my items but I chose to pay for my stuff and wait 15 minutes to get treated poorly instead. I won't be coming back to this place ever again.

Sunday 9:30 pm, the workers close the SelfPay machine… and the other one is “Cash Only”… it’s 2023, where’s the customer service???

I am an employee of this store and wanted to give a huge thank you to our new (fairly new) boss. He is the best boss anyone could have! He has made a HUGE improvement to our store!... And is a great teacher by taking the time to explain anything we need or want to learn more about. He cares about all his employees. In the year and a half I have worked there... I am truly the happiest and the most comfortable I have ever been. It is a great pleasure to wake up and go to work in the morning!

I thought it was the Best Dollar General store and had a positive review for nearly a year. Now they are no different than any other cheap dolar store. They have FAKE sales 3 for $10 but they rarely have 3 items. Unhelpful & Unfriendly employee won't honor the sales or the sale prices. He turned around and blamed me and said "you are not buying 3" It is not worth the trip out here when you can get everything you need at PUBLIX for a better price, and no hassle. Too bad they decided to go this route. Won't be back again.

Very helpful employees. Found some items I left there a few nights before and made my day. Also the nighttine assistant manager helped me pick out a vanity mirror for my mom who loved it. Thank you.

Great store, clean and well stocked. Good selection of a variety of value priced products. Front counter person polite and helpful. Conventient location and ample parking. I'll be back!

I had an issue with my receipts not coming out, and the manger John Caldwell sat down and personally hand wrote a copy of my purchases. That is a wonderful example of great customer service. So stop in and tell John thanks for awesome hospitality.

I was so excited to have a dollar general close to my house. This experience has really disappointed me in the company. I recently purchased a pool that was suppose to be brand new in the box along with other snacks for my family. In these times with the “stay at home order” due to the pandemic happening in our country my family was eager and excited for a new pool. I cut the tape to open our pool, and the moment I opened it I noticed it was moist. I chalked it up to being in an hot environment and maybe causing moisture. I grabbed the pool and removed it from the box and it was VERY wet and had red stains all on the bottom of the pool. Once I started to unfold the pool I realized there were leafs inside! This pool is obviously not new. We tried to follow the instructions to blow up the pool even though you could tell it was used(as long as it worked I would have kept it). After blowing it up it started deflating immediately. I was super frustrated however understanding things happen, so I brought it back to the store That I purchased it at expecting a refund. I didn’t get as much as an apology just that I was out of luck because I had no receipt which I threw away thinking I purchased something new. I put in my card information which I used to purchase this item and they “couldn’t find it” on record. There were NO attempts to rectify the situation just a “too bad” attitude. My next step will be the pool manufacturer since on the box it clearly says there is a warranty for this pool. The customer service was poor, and the situation leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I have a witness who saw me open the box brand new and saw the condition. I will not be going back to dollar general. My next stop will be the manufacture of the product in hopes they have better ways to fix this situation.
