Dick's has been around forever, providing quality gear at fairly high prices. My wife was looking for some new walking shoes, so we stopped in. The service was hit or miss; the first guy who said he was helping us disappeared for a very long time and another person came by to help eventually. They are pretty knowledge about their shoe inventory and listen to what you want before making a recommendation. The rest of the store has a lot of good equipment and clothing, all at fairly high prices.I'm sure we could've bought the same shoes online at a decent $ savings.

I tried to return a shirt I never wore. She claimed it was washed lol so I couldn't return it. I have the receipt and don't want a 43 dollar shirt I'll never wear. Someone with authority please help.

Nice store, clean. But, didn't have the variety and supply like most other locations. I don't know if this was affected by the opening of REI next door or not.

Tried to make a simple exchange for some Nike weightlifting gloves that I had bought four days ago, used once, and the stitching in several places was coming undone already. I could not find the receipt, but figured an exchange could be made for the exact same product in hopes that they would hold up better. I was told that my only options were to return the gloved for literally $2.32 since I had no proof of purchase and they were used, or keep the poor quality ones I already had. The manager came over and said he would just have to go in the back to track down my receipt since my scorecard rewards card was not used for the initial purchase (not sure why the cashier didn’t do this then…). While this was all happening a simple google search leads me to the Dick’s website where it claims “ We provide a free and easy returns process”. The entire process took over 10 minutes for a simple exchange. And below that headline on the Dick’s website it says “Returns without a Valid Proof of Purchase must be returned using a valid ID and will receive a store credit for the lowest selling price. Store credit may be used for in-store merchandise purchases only.” So I’m really confused as to why the process was so drawn out and they felt a need to find proof of purchase when the website says that’s not required for returns. Overall just a frustrating and drawn out experience that makes me not really want to go back. Could have been handled a lot better and faster. Additionally, when I was looking at gloves the initial trip to the store, I was there at the workout section searching for gloves for several minutes and also looking at the options once I found them for another ten minutes and no one asked if I needed help. Would rather shop online than deal with the poor customer service here.

Sam is the young man working in the shoe department. He is an asset to your store and has future management potential. Friendly and very customer focused. In a time when nobody wants to work, Sam cares about his job and making sure his customers are happy.

Great greeting, customer service, Management does a great job here. Selection of Basketball shoes was good. Store is well stocked and organized. This has been my experience here a dozen times or so. Navigating driving to end of lot is my tip before entering to avoid traffic. Great places to eat nearby, something for everyone.

They have nice selection of products. Not cheap stuff but quality items. If you're serious about your sports, shop here not amazon. Amazon tends to have cheapest, worst quality nowadays. Sports authority was good too, sad that's its gone now.
