I saw all of these terrible reviews and I couldn’t figure it out. I get it now. I understand that the work is extremely stressful and mentally exhausting. However you can’t work against people that simply want their medication. My insurance allows me to refill when 80% of the medication has been used. This woman with one of the most distorted bodies I’ve ever seen in my life tells me that I have to come back when I have 5 days worth of medication left. That was her arbitrary rule imposed on me. Funny that she really thought that was going to just give up and leave. I did get my medication the next day. But that’s a story for another day. Do yourself a favor and go to the mail order or another pharmacy.

Store doesn't open till nine am. I guess they're walmart now because you have to scan yourself. If I wanted to scan myself I would be at walmart.

I had a vaccine administered into my right arm on April 14. They have NO record of this anywhere (except the appt confirmation via email)! The pharmacy staff seems to rotate with no pharmacy manager available and a store manager who was not interested in making sure follow up happened. I'd avoid this location at all costs for any of your needs.

Waited on the phone for half an hour for the pharmacy, so I hung up and called back later. Pharmacy then proceeds to hang up on me. ?Edit- others have not gotten notifications for med refills or have otherwise been denied full refills.

I’ve had my prescriptions filled by CVS for decades, at locations in Virginia and Georgia and elsewhere in Sarasota. Honestly this is the worst CVS pharmacy I’ve ever used. Uncommunicative, almost never answer their phone (good luck with that), and understaffed at all times. Most of the pharmacy staff don’t seem to have a good grasp on the process, which means more workload on the poor pharmacist. That’s all on the manager, who’s trying to spend the least he/she can. If you prefer CVS over other pharmacies then try locations on Fruitville Road or on S Tamiami. Would not surprise me to see this one boarded up soon. If I could get someone to answer the pharmacy phone I would transfer my prescriptions to another location but I’ll have to go in person.

So I have to pay my rent at a few different places since my bank card doesn’t seem to work on my rental agency’s app. I went to the bank to get out $2025 to pay the rent and counted before pulling out of the drive thru. At CVS, the kid at the register tells me I’m $100 short. There’s no way. I counted it, as well as the teller at the bank. And nobody offered to help look or maybe look at the cameras. I walked in with the correct amount and now have to go back to the bank to pull out the remainder. I know where it went. It couldn’t have gone anywhere else as it was never taken out of the bank envelope until I was at the register. I will not go there again. Ridiculous!!

Absolute worst place to fill a prescription. First off don't even bother it literally takes allll day if they fill it at all. 2nd you have to speak hood rat for the hood rat to understand what you are saying.

This CVS gave me EpiPens that will expire in 10 months as opposed to the expected 1-year minimum. There was no proration of the price. This seems unethical. Where is the line? 6 months? 3 months? EpiPens are expensive. Not only that--my prescription was ready yet it still took the employee 25 minutes to process me. The only good thing about this CVS is Ann. She's so friendly and helpful.

After work I went shopping in another city and took the wrong exit on the highway. I thought I could figure it out but I was lost with a dead phone. The more I drove the more lost I became. I didn't want to stop at a gas station late at night. I saw the CVS and went in. I was desperate for a charger for gps. The man stocking shelves and the woman at the desk were very helpful and kind. She helped me find a charger that fit my phone and wished me luck. I was over an hour away from home in Apollo Beach. Thank you so much for your kindness and not making me feel more d*** than I already felt. Literally lifesavers, thanks to you I got home safe.
