Been dealing with Robert at coastal coin for some years now and this place has built a reputation, with me and in the community, for being honest and respectable. It's extremely hard, these days, to find persons/businesses with values and integrity. By far the best coin shop in the 941 area... hands down. I am not a paid spokesperson. Haha. But in all seriousness, if you're looking to buy or sell precious metals, this is the place to go!!

Sean was honest and fair and gave us useful information this shop i would recommend highly to anyone that doesnt know about coins! They put up the money and they were brutally honest not rip off artists this is the type of people i like to do buisness with the local buisness man kudos to you sean we will recommend you on your integrity and honor thank tou so much!!!

am from outta town (Atlanta GA.) And found this Gem of a store with great prices on 90%, rounds, and actually picked up a 1/20 gold coin for my collection. Silver near spot and a great deal now.

Got some coins appraised here today and the clerk behind the counter was super knowledgeable and friendly, great customer service. Ended up selling the my coins and buying 5 ounces of silver. Would come back again.

I loved everything about this place. Friendly staff, excited shoppers, and they went out of their way to find what I needed. I will be back!
Update: I did return, and brought my godson with me. It was his first trip to a coin shop. The people there took the time to help him look through all sorts of things, including coins and currency. My godson ended up buying a 1957 proof set in beautiful condition after getting a mini-lesson on coins, proof sets, and all sorts of other things. We got a great deal on coins, and then were treated with a "thanks for helping to preserve history!" from the very friendly shop owner. Once again, super impressed with the people there. If I could give a sixth star, I would. Thanks for helping a young collector find their passion for history and collecting!

My husband and I went to Coastal Coin with a baggie filled with coins given to us by an elderly friend whose husband passed away and had left these coins in a drawer. She wanted the coins appraised and sold. We had a delightful experience at Coastal! The owners were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable and within 30 minutes, we walked out with cash for our friend! The shop is in a great downtown location with ample parking. I highly recommend this business to anyone wishing to buy or sell coins… We were very very pleased and we know she will be too!

After hauling my childhood coin collection thru various states where I have lived, it was finally time to let some other collection enjoy them and add to their collection. The staff at Coastal could not have been nicer with regards to explaining history, researching value of some of my foreign coins and most importantly offering a very fair price for them. It's obvious they enjoy what they are doing and sharing that enthusiasm with others. Rather than try to cover all the aspects of "collecting" or concentrating on gold and bullion, they stay in their "lane" with coins and coin related(banks) items.
