“I was in the automobile business for over 27 years. During that time I visited MANY service departments. Ed Howard Lincoln service is what every new car dealership service should be. However, this is the only one that I have seen like this. Lenora greeted me when I came by with my 2020 Lincoln Nautilus and could not be nicer and efficient. I had the opportunity to meet Travis and he too is very impressive. Lincoln mobile unit was at my home today and Jeff was on time, professional and super nice. This is one dealership that I wish I could have worked for when I was in the business. Take care of these folks Ed, they are rare.”
“The counter was very busy upon arrival but the workers were energetic, very helpful and got through the line as quickly as possible. We loved the vehicle we were given (Jeep Wagoneer) as it was very spacious and perfect for all eight of us to fit in comfortably.”

“What an amazing rental experience owner and staff. I needed a last minute pickup truck rental to remove some storm damage from Milton Kris immediately started looking to help me within an hour she had a truck for me. When I went into the rental office I was met by a smiling and friendly staff member who was more than patient with me. Being from out of state I never knew I had to put a travel note on my card with my bank we had a lot of laughs with me trying to get it lifted she was great. On the return the next day both staff members made me feel like family. I highly recommend Avis at 435 North Washington in Sarasota. I will definitely be a repeat customer.”

“Very helpful staff at the Sarasota downtown Enterprise location. It was very busy with vacationers/local rentals due to repairs but they were patient and very polite with customers. They called before I arrived to inform me that the class of vehicle I requested was not in but they got me a substitute that was acceptable for a day then I returned and swapped. Cars are older (66k and 45k miles on the two I rented) but in decent shape. Much less expensive than the airport and about a 10-minute drive. Budget some extra time when picking up - it's not grab and go as with Hertz or others at the airport. Drop-off was quick by leaving keys in a box and departing without waiting in line. They confirmed receipt a couple hours later. They were all working very hard to satisfy the customers, cleaning cars and trying to keep up with the volume. You might end up waiting a bit at peak times.”
“We only Enterprise, too many issues with other rental services over the years but never and issue with these guys! Don't just try to get the cheapest price, get the best service and an amazing value, choose enterprise every time.”

“I would like to thank the staff of the Budget Rental in Sarasota While visiting Sarasota from Canada i came out from a restaurant and found my rental had been sideswiped and had a lot of damage. I picked the car up in Tampa but called this Budget as it was closed to my vacation spot at the time. First thing Sunday morning they answered my call. Walked me through returning my rental and trading it for another suitable rental. They were friendly and made me relaxed that everything would be fine. The office was very busy with many other people coming and going but the continued to support me while I filled out my personal insurance documents so they could complete there paperwork and exchange the smashed up car with a replacement rental. Thank you. !!! Your customer service was amazing and greatly appreciated. And you were correct it was simple to return the rental back to Tampa even though it was not the original one.Your support and friendly manner as well as your knowledge of the process was greatly appreciated!!!”
“I recently rented from Payless because they were cheaper than other options. All in all my experience was very good. The wait in line to get the rental was around 10 minutes or so, but it was 10:00pm and there was only one person at the counter which is not odd for the cheaper companies. The car itself was from Canada and was pretty rough on the outside, scratches and stuff. I was sure to take photos of the car before I left just in case, as I would do with any rental company. The inside however was nice and clean, no floor mats though. The return was easy and the staff was very friendly. I see many negative reviews and I’m not saying they are not accurate. People have different experiences with companies but I fortunately had a good experience with Payless. I would use this use the company again.”

“Searching online was simple, I had opted for an upgrade however received a vehicle which had a family of dogs before me so I had to drive with my head out th window because I was having horrible allergies. Strong dog smell, the moment I sat down a ploom of dust and pet debris went airborne, had to be on the road to make my destination, I was charged an additional $200 at drop off, not sure why..
Edit---Went from two stars to five stars after renting a few other times which turned out fantastic, they always have nice low mileage cars and will let you check out other vehicles if the one they assigned doesn't float, thanks.”
“Car was in fine condition and as described. The only issue was waiting in line at SRQ to pick it up. They definitely need two employees to speed up the process. However, every single other rental car company in the airport had the same issue with lines and wait times, so it isn't unique to Budget. I would use them again.”

“Best part of this experience was that I did not have to call customer service because the location have an email so any manager in duty will reply instead being on hold for hours. I saw the manager special choice and it was cheap, I read the part that says it was the choice of the location and I got a Tesla, really easy, the car tells you where are the charging stations. Paola the manager was really nice at pick up, she makes recommendations and gave me the location email in case of any questions.
At return the charge was a little less than 70% and I spoke to George and he assisted me and as a courtesy I was not charge, he answered all my questions and I will give this team the highest rate when I got the survey. Thank you SRQ Team”

The rental agent Ed went above and beyond to assist me in resolving the issue with the Rental Agreement and getting a refund I have never met a more friendly, competent and civil person in the rental car business. “Mostly a very positive experience renting a Mustang convertible for our week in Florida. Reservations and pick up could not be any easier. Car came with an EZ Pass which was very easy to use and useful while driving near Orlando which had lots of tools. Took away 1 star for 2 reasons. First, the car had some slight cosmetic damage when we picked it up and when putting the top down or up, part of the rear section was obviously broken(we were afraid the plastic would break right off). Second, tried to call customer service the night we were dropping it off since the drop off location at the Sarasota airport was closed by 8:30pm. There is no way to talk to a human after hours. It all turned out fine but being closed by 8:30pm seemed early. But even with those 2 issues, I would highly recommend Alamo Rent A Car and will use them again.”
