The staff was standing around not helping the 20 25 people in store. Tried to call customer care line to file complaint they said since I don't have best buy account they can file complaint. When you call the store to talk to store manager or member of management rings through call center of even worse customer service. I told them I would not have account with them due to horrible service and if I did have an account j would have canceled it. Never shopping at this location or any best buy again. HORRIBLE HORIBBLE SERVICE. I HAVE BEEN TREATRD BETTER AT MCDONALDS THAN HERE.. PS Two customers heard me on phone with customer care and they said they were trying to by several big screen tvs but walked out so good luck best buy.

UN...believable! Went in ready to spend approx 700.00. Check in with greeter desk.
We're told to wait in a specific area for assistance. 15min, no help but group of 3 employees chatting, laughing.
Returned to greeter, was told sorry and to return to waiting area. 10 min, no help.
Told greeter we are leaving because no assistance. Saw more staff chatting in a group as leaving. Her response?
Aww...sorry.
Poor business model. On line shopping the best!

Staff is knowledgeable and very friendly, very helpful. Sarasota store is so much nicer than the one in Bradenton. I cannot stand going to the Bradenton store the staff is nasty if u can actually get someone to help you. They are not helpful what's so ever...... THAT STORE SHOULD BE CLOSED OR RESTAFFED!!!!!!!!!!!

The change in the Best Buy membership (paid with almost no benefits) and the customer service received at this location has caused me to cancel my membership and do everything possible to not shop here or any Best Buy going forward. I was sold an empty box (no product inside) and when I came back for assistance I was basically accused of lying and given no remedy for paying $100+ for an empty box. Thankfully the manufacturer did right and sent me a replacement. They earned a customer for life while Best Buy has lost one. In the last year alone I had purchased major appliances, several TVs, and countless other products. Your reward system has gone to trash, your customer service has gone to trash. There is no incentive whatsoever to shop here.

Horrible customer service. Walked in about an hour from close and it seemed like nobody in the store even cared. Most employees just talking to one another or on their phone. Needed to pick up a drone because mine got stolen along with my wallet. Therefore I didn’t have my card. I told them I would order the drone online and pay and all I wanted to do was pick it up while I was there. I was even looking at the drone in front of me. They said I wouldn’t be able to take it home that day. When I asked why…. I kid you not they said “because we don’t want the workers in the back working too hard this close to closing time” ….. what???? I walked out and ordered it on Amazon. Had it the next morning. What a waste of time

Picked up a beverage cooler recently, employees were extremely helpul and polite would have been (5) stars, but I had to call back with follow up questions, and the answering system was mind boggling, hence the drop down to (3) stars. "If you're calling so and so press #", and so on, and so on, finally a person, please hold, then back in to the system, damn. Next thing I know, I'm connected to someone from the customer service portal in who know's where. 15 minutes, nothing, they tell me to go back to the store and figure it out. Thanks Best Buy.

It's so easy and commonplace to write a review when you have a horrible experience - justifiably. Unfortunately, these negative reviews tend to outshine the positive, so I hope this one reaches the powers that be!
I visited this location on Tuesday, May 14th to pick-up an online order. When I arrived at the store, I got in line behind two people at the pick-up counter. We waited a few minutes while the employee working the check-out counter finished up with another customer. The store wasn't too busy, but you could tell they were under-staffed (which was confirmed later after hearing a few employees called out that day).
Within a few minutes, the line at the counter grew to be 6-7 people long. People started looking around, myself included, to try and find any other store employee to help this man. Even with an employee sitting at the front entrance to greet and answer questions, no one seemed to be able to alleviate the situation.
The employee working the counter at the time, Nick, deserves to be highlighted and praised for his positive attitude and composure. He acknowledged the elephant in the room, and apologized for everyone having to wait. Multiple times I saw him call for back-up on his headset, to no response. Again, I'm sure everyone was doing their best with the light staffing issue; I just felt bad for him and wished I could jump behind the counter to help! He even ran to the back warehouse and wheeled a large pick-up item on a cart to the front when no one answered his call - instead of making the customer wait even longer.
Eventually, someone else ran up and was able to help at the counter. Overall, I maybe waited 20 minutes to pick-up my order. In the grand scheme of things, this is not a big deal. However, pick-up orders are placed for convenience sake and had I been in a hurry, it would have been easy to become frustrated. All of this to say, Nick is an exceptional employee who deserves all the praise. Not only did he move as fast as possible under the circumstance, but he remained positive and even joked with everyone to alleviate any tension.
I normally don't leave such detailed reviews, but I thought this was important to highlight. In a world where there are much bigger fish to fry, and truly life-threatening things happening daily, waiting in line for 20 minutes is nothing - but I appreciated Nick and his positive demeanor while I did.

Best Buy will go out of business. Especially this location. I went in, asked for help buying a drone. I waited for 40 minutes and I asked multiple people for help, they kept asking for my first name then ignoring me. Waste of time and energy.

I stood waiting for 35 minutes to grab one item—a hard drive that’s locked in a case. I finally walked out and ordered the hard drive on Amazon, which will be delivered to my house later today. This is the worst customer experience. Why have someone check into a queue for one item? I should be able to walk in, grab what I need, pay, and leave. You have lost touch with the customer. Why would I want to pre-order on an app? I can do that on Amazon and not drive to your store. I am coming to a store because I need it now. Walk in, walk out. Telling me I can open an app to place the order so that I can drive down to get better service... You have got to be joking. Stop adding layers to the process. If I wanted to use an app, I would have placed the order online. Fix this awful mindset and serve the customer properly at the store at the time of service.

I had a great experience shopping for a monitor at Best Buy. The staff was knowledgeable and helped me navigate their wide selection to find exactly what I needed. They answered all my questions and made sure I was satisfied with my choice. The store was well-organized, making it easy to compare different models. I left feeling confident in my purchase. Highly recommend for anyone in need of tech expertise and a smooth shopping experience!
