So, I visited this place not long ago, and they were a lifesaver... less than 5 min walk to the Trauma Center, and I don't know how I would've managed without that short commute. It has good amenities, like the breakfast room, (amongst other things), and the hotel staff were courteous & friendly. I know where to stay should another emergency necessitate another visit to Sarasota TC. -Extremely Thankful

Rooms were very dirty and old. Front door didn't even work right with molding coming off. Cockroaches in the bathroom and in the sink crawling on the sidewalls. Taking a shower you stood in six inches of water and it took all night to

This place is a dump. Elevator certificate is expired. Elevator sounds & feels like it wouldn't pass inspection. Carpet stained, torn & fraying. Safety door lock broken off. Dead bolt would not engage. The doors appear as though many rooms have been broken into!?

Really clean room, smelled good and John in the front desk was super nice and helpful. Definitely recommend staying here close to downtown Sarasota and easy bus access.

So I had two separate rooms in a week time first room was disgustingly dirty and gross and I ended up going out and buying cleaner to scrub the bathroom floors with and the tub so that I would even feel comfortable taking a shower in there with shower shoes on. The second room that I had was much more acceptable much cleaner much nicer still not really great however their breakfast first thing in the morning over the weekend was amazing during the week not quite as much was offered and the staff wasn't as friendly during the week but over the weekend they were amazing pool was great fitness room really small but adequate and rooms were fairly reasonably priced so I can't say that I would recommend it unless you need it someplace really affordable to stay and you didn't care what it was like on the inside of the room but the pool was definitely very nice comparatively. Definitely would have enjoyed staying there a lot more had it not been so dirty in the first room I think that somewhat biased me against staying there afterwards but like I said the second room was much nicer but still not very clean The title floors in the bathroom area were supposed to be like a tan color tile and they were almost black before I spent the time to scrub them and clean them so that I would feel comfortable there in my bare feet or even in socks.

DO NOT BOOK HERE ! ROOMS SMELL LIKE MOLD AND CIGARETTES, AND SEVERE PLUMBING ISSUESFrom the first night at check in with Skye, we knew it would be horrible experience. We had a king room, with 4 small squashed pillows, I requested more since these were flat and only 4 for the whole king bed, Skye said no that there isn't any. Ok, a bit later, we notice our toilet isn't working properly. But the next morning it wouldn't flush at all. Called office and Skye was once again rude and said she was alone and couldn't do anything. That if we wanted a plunger, she can give us one to unclog ourselves!!! So I went down to the office immediately, she called her manager, John, who sent a maintenance man, I requested a call from John and left my number with Skye. I did NOT get contacted by manager. Later that night, we showered and upon stepping out, the toilet was overflowing and we stepped in the water.Called front office again, and she said best she can do was give us a queen bedroom. I went down and once again. Upon arrival in the office, she had her 2 male friends which she was giving them a room, I asked her to call manager to make the situation right, because I wasn't accepting being given a queen bed when I had a king. She was so upset, giving me an attitude about having to call her manager again. She was more focused on the guys. When she called manager, he quickly moved us to a king suite, but I still requested a call back from him. The room he gave is, was the room she was booking her male friends AFTER she told us she had only queen bed availed !!! That room also had bathtubs clogged with hair and filled when showeringI'm STILL waiting for the manager to call me after numerous attempts to speak to him and leaving my number

Arrived and first room was on the second floor and the hotel had a broken elevator, i currently have a broken foot so this trip is already a challenge. The room had a adjoining room that didn't lock so we requested a different room, we were moved to another room but was still on the second floor and this room TV didn't work everything in the room was unplugged so we had to fumble around and plug everything in . After trying to fix the TV and calling the lobby we waited for someone to come fix the TV which was around an hour or so now we've been in this room .We were told it would be fixed in the morning, but that wasn't going to work for us so we requested another room and this time it was on the third floor so by now I'm tired and in a lot of pain trying to go up and down stairs to get into a room with out an issue with the room itself however, the third room had no table but two chairs and was considered a full kitchenette. Smelled overwhelmingly like cigarette smoke to the point I had to leave the door open for the most part. Over all horrible experience couldn't get to the breakfast suite which is one the first floor but one time due to my broken foot and multiple trips moving rooms. I addressed the front desk at time of check out I was asked for my personal contact info so the owner would call me but so far no call. Sadly, all I wanted to do was a take a small break away from all the chaos that life brings and enjoy a night or two with my wife and it turned out to be a nightmare.

The location is old. Imagine Jetsons retro and it puts a better facade on the place but don't let the outside full you! It's actually very nice. The surrounding area over all is a bit sketchy, not sure if it is on its way up or down. Hopefully, it is on its way up.

Room smelled HEAVILY of cigarette smoke. Like someone had chain smoked in that room earlier that day. I informed the front desk that I think the previous guest had smoked inside and her response was "Oh man, I hate when people do that" and told me there were no other rooms I could switch to. I later realized... the parking lot only had 7 cars in it. Clearly, there were more rooms. My guess is they all smell that way, so moving wouldn't have helped.

Not sure how a chain hotel like Wyndham can justify owning a property like this. The smell in the room (mold?) was horrendous - only to find out later that the carpet in front of the bathroom and next to the bed was completely soaked. Did the toilet overflow?? Who knows. Disgusting clogged drain in shower/tub. Cracked walls and peeling paint. And that's just the room. Outside was just as bad with trash everywhere and exposed utility pumps and electrical wires. I guess this is what you get for $100/night. Shameful.

O love this place, it's very clean and the ppl who work here are awesome. I thought I would have to pay pet fee but became my dog is a service animal o didn't have to pay pet fee. I didn't know that till o got here and only reason I found out is because I was talking to the young lady who checked me in and o noticed a picture of a dog with sun glasses on and we started talking about dogs and I told her my Lil dog is my Emotional support pet. And that's when she said because he is my service animal I didn't have to pay pet deposit. She was awesome

This hotel is a ruin. Totally neglected and dirty smelly dump priced $120.Booked online room with pool view, got room with parking view. The room was nicotine smelly, toxic level, after intervention nice girl Sky from service desk gave me room with pool view as booked. The room's entry door had no door seal, gaps more than a 1/4". Noisy A/C was working nonstop cooling outside air. They don't think how much electricity cost. Bedsheet was dirty, on the bathroom door residual of somebody's nose secretion, you smell mold, bathroom paint was peeling off. Room was smelly, wet dump.Pool was clean. Breakfast was good, hot one.Stay away if you can. Do not recommend.Rooms: Dirty, smelly ruin.Nearby activities: Not in walking distance. 10 minutes to Downtown.Food & drinks: Good hot breakfast. Nothing to eat around.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights for our quick little Florida honeymoon awhile back. I had booked thru Hotels.com with no problems. I called ahead and told them we were driving down from Georgia, and the clerk said late check-in would be no problem. Well, with only one driver and multiple stops, an 8 hour trip turned into about 16 hours down and 14 hours back on the way home. When we arrived it was very late, sometime after midnight or 1am. At first, the manager or night clerk couldn't find my reservation. I was highly upset because everything had been confirmed. They and I both got on the phone with Hotels.com and it seemed to be some error on the motel's part because everything was confirmed once again. The gentleman checking me in apologized for the mix-up, and then proceeded to tell me that somehow we got lost in the system, but it's good we arrived when we did as the system purges no-shows after 2am or something like that. His demeanor softened and became more pleasant after that, giving me multiple brochures on things to do in the area and a local map. I was just thankful everything worked out as it had been the longest drive I'd ever completed, and we had our cat in tow who needed to be let out ASAP! (Thankful they accepted cats also). The room seemed pretty clean, average, with a mini fridge and microwave. The stay was quiet and conveniently located to a lot of things we wanted to see. We got in the pool one day and had it all to ourselves. It was nice and warm and not dirty at all. My biggest gripe was that upon leaving, I noticed there was a huge stain across the side of our mattress - like they tried to wash out a murder scene or someone had their time of the month and wasn't prepared. In any case, it was disturbing. We didn't notice it until leaving, so there's no way to prove it was there beforehand (otherwise, we would have said something). I understand having to cut costs on certain things, but I wouldn't let my customers sleep on that if I was aware of it. Overall, it was a good stay except for the dirty mattress and check-in mixup. I recommend getting there early if possible and definitely checking your room carefully before settling in. We were just way too dead tired to do so upon arriving, then were out and about for most of our very quick stay. I don't know if I'd come back or not to this establishment as it was my first trip to Florida, but if you go, just do your due diligence.

Head Board on King bed fell down. Also TV was not working. They came a repaired it. Switch to another room. We don't smoke, they were not able to remove the smoke smell. Back to the room with no head board. We will not be going back there.Noteworthy details: Low class motel.
