My cat had a horrible infection and wasn’t likely to survive but the staff and doctors there worked diligently and patiently to save her . I’m forever grateful . Great place with an amazing knowledgeable staff ❤️

DO NOT GO TO THIS VET! There are so many better ones in town .I didn’t mind paying their exorbitant prices when I was wealthy and living west of the trail. And when I retired and moved to a country club community I kept going there because my dog was there and that’s where the records were kept. However , when I spent my summer in New Hampshire as a snowbird and my dog needed the medicine she has taken twice before for the same problem that she keeps having over and over, the vet refused to give it to me and told me I needed to see a veterinarian up here. now, mind you, this is a minor skin, irritation problem, and not some major issue that she is having or the medicine is anything beyond some sort of an antibiotic. Before, they kept insisting I go in there just so they can charge me more I’d be grudgingly did it. It’s absolutely ridiculous and something there has changed. This was after I got put on a seven minute hold and got hung up on and had to call back hours later to get any service. Do not go to this vet. There are so many other better ones in town.

Bay Road Animal Hospital has been amazing with our dog, Brooke. They took excellent care of her and were always friendly and professtional. Now, Brooke is doing much better, and we are super happy with the service we received. We highly recommend Bay Road Animal Hospital.

Max my cat has been a patient for years and before him Sadie and Frenchie.
Dr. Dana Tashjian And her staff were so helpful today. Max wasn’t feeling well, and I had missed my morning appointment. I had called them to see if I could bring Max in right away and of course they said yes and I didn’t have to wait. They took him right away and he’s feeling better. They have always been professional and caring to my animals. But today it was just a step above and beyond and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Very good place. Good people and work with exotics. Dr. knows what he is doing, thankful he took my Chameleon in and saved his life. Thankful for all the help and knowing what I was unaware of. Highly recommend if you own exotics.

Dr . Smith and the exam team made me and my bird feel well cared for during her exam. Dr. Smith spent time explaining the exam options and then telling me what he was doing before doing it. The assistant handling my bird was confident and made my bird feel at ease. Thank you Bay Road for taking such good care of the two of us.

I've been going to Bay Road Animal Hospital for at least 6 years, and I have had great service. What I have noticed is the prices are now out of control. I have two dogs and its getting to the point where I can't afford their services anymore.

Experienced dog owner and one who, unfortunately, has had experience with significant pet medical issues. Past experience of many years and dogs is with the University of Pennsylvania Ryan Animal Hospital, probably the best Vet School and Animal Hospital in the US. Based on my past experience, Bay Road has excellent vets (our experience has been with Drs Smith and Tashjian). Very experienced and compassionate. Approach the health issues prudently and reasonably, without over or under reacting. Caring staff. Vets are very prompt in returning calls (on-call after hours emergency vet or during normal hours as a follow-up) to consult regarding an owner's concern and/or condition of the animal.

Love Dr Tashjian! Spends time listening and addressing concerns. Excellent record keeping so each visit my dog’s history is known and considered. Feel very confident in my dog’s care and that they are cared about.
