“If you want to rent in downtown Sarasota, look no further! We are 5-year residents of CitySide and have loved every moment living here. From the free athletic classes, to the complementary breakfasts served on Saturday, the van that shuttles us to the airport or the beach, the great gym...and I can go on to talk about the pristine apartments with so many options from studios to 2-bedrooms. The whole staff is amazing but I will give a special shoutout to Lysa Locke, Kristina Perez, Jackie Diaz and Juan Fleitas who assure that our life at CitySide is second to none. The maintenance staff headed by Fredy Trabel, Hernan Villalobos, Enrique Beltran, and Jimmy Munday are super responsive.
This review could name even more fantastic staff.

“My husband and I lived at Gulf Gate Apartments for exactly 1 year. We would have continued living here longer- the only reason we left was because we were fortunate enough to buy a home. Melanie in the front office is a gem of a person. I have lived in apartments for 10 years across 3 cities and she is by far the best apartment staff I've ever known. She is kind, prompt, caring, and personable. Maintenance concerns are taken care of next business day and everything is always clean and orderly. The community is quiet and friendly. To us, Gulf Gate Apartments was truly a diamond in Sarasota.”
“For my first apartment, I think it's good! There's a pool with nice grills and seating areas! Plus at night, it looks pretty with the lights on at the pool ?
I love that there's a poopbags everywhere for your dogs, very convenient. People here seems nice; I don't really interact with them, but from what I see, everyone minds their business.
My biggest complaint will be the fact there's issues with the appliances or issues with the room itself. Luckily Bella Grove will replace/fix the issue if you put a work order in. Though it's weird how often it happens... hopefully it's not me breaking them ?? that'll be so embarrassing”

“Great complex with nice people who work here & live here! I love watching the wildlife in the pond & the pool is nice & kept up well. The maintenance staff is great and they come by the same day if I ever need anything. They also host fun events every couple of months that I enjoy. I moved recently from CA, so I’ve met some nice neighbors that way too!”
“My daughter and granddaughter lived here and I spent a great deal of time with them. This was by far the nicest place they ever lived. The property is beautiful, the location is extremely convenient and the staff and maintenance team was always extremely helpful and my husband and I felt they were finally in a safe community. Felix was always especially helpful and made sure we got our security deposit back which has never happened in any other place they lived. I know they really miss living there!”
“We are in love with L’Estancia! Our 2BR/2Bath apartment has just been renovated. Everything is new and we have a full sized washer/dryer! Our LR has a gorgeous view of the lake, green spaces and a huge Live Oak tree. The complex is on 22acres with beautiful landscaping. It is unlike so many other apartments which are stacked high on miles of concrete! L’Estancia is close to everything. The prices are very fair and all the rooms are spacious. The management is very responsive and friendly. They keep their word! Very organized! We were very touched by all the “Welcome” gifts- detergents, waste basket, paper towels and TP, oven mitt, spatula, folder of information, etc. We feel like the management cares about us! Thank you L’Estancia!”

“We are moving to FL and wanted to enjoy the Waterside area of Lakewood Ranch. We investigated a number of apartment venues with a Chat GPT generated questionnaire. The outcome was that we choose the Botanic as the place to move to. This decision was based partly on location, pricing, and facility. However, the overarching reason was Tracey. We made an appointment with her and she was exceptional with her professionalism, knowledge of the facility and above all her patients and help for two 80 year olds. Ask for her and be pleased with the outcome.”
