Yesterday I had to put my beloved dog down. Anyone who has had to do this knows just how tough it is. Dr. Watkins and his staff were super compassionate and empathetic and made the process as smooth as it could be. I'm sure he's done this many times, but you could feel his sadness. We've been going to this father and daughter team for half a dozen years and I would never go anywhere else. They are not pushy, they love animals, their team is amazing, and they know what they are doing. Yesterday afternoon I received flowers. I immediately teared up when I saw who sent them....Dr. Watkins and his team.

Great staff, attractive and clean facility. The vet figured out exactly what had happened to my dog (she had a cracked and infected dewclaw), unlike the urgent care vet we'd seen a week earlier. I'm planning to become a regular client of the Animal Health Center.

I absolutely found a vet clinic that had compassion and is not pushy! Father daughter team! I recommend this place to everyone that cares about the staff an vet whose taking care of your animals! Love this place an the whole staff!

I had an emergency with my 12 month old Shih Tzu, and I called my regular vet and he couldn't fit me in and I explained it was an emergency, but they still told me they were booked for two weeks. So I decided to go and search out and look for another veterinarian and that's when I found animal health center and the veterinarian was friendly, personable and very experienced. He got my baby girl feeling better in no time I can't say enough about the professionalism in this office, and they treated my baby Bella as if she was going there her entire life all of 12 months lol. All kidding aside if you are looking for a great veterinarian and a friendly staff. Well then look no further I highly recommend this veterinarian is excellent, If I could give them 10 stars I would!

I called Animal Health Center on Bee Ridge Rd. I told them my dog had an emergency. Even though Wiley wasn't their client they made time for him. Dr Morgan was compassionate And knowledgeable. She knew the problem immediately. Even though Wiley wasn't her patient she made time for him. Thanks to Animal Health Clinic, antibiotic and steroids Wiley is fine. It's obvious to me that Animal Health Clinic puts the patient first. Needless to say Dr Morgan is now Wiley's veterinarian. I originally called my vet first. They said I couldn't have an appointment until the next day. I explained that it was an emergency. They told me to take him to an emergency vet.

Best vet practice ever. I have always had pets and have used vets everywhere I have lived. Since moving full time to Sarasota I had not found a vet practice I was happy with until I found Drs Watkins. My son moved to SRQ and found this practice and I switched to this practice over a year ago and have been extremely happy with both vets and the office staff. So very helpful and accommodating.

My first appt here I was charged a double exam fee, it was refunded when I later noticed and called. This was alarming but I still continued my service because of how smooth the refund was. Then I was charged a $70 follow up exam alarming because it was a follow up I just moved here from up north and we don’t get charged exam fees for follow ups but only tech appts anyways still continued but upon trying to get my dogs flea and tick medication from 1800 pet meds and the office denying it , ive decided to switch. They refuse todo a 3 second verbal order or fax approval. Stating they would give me the fax to mail to 1800 pet meds. I don’t get the feeling from this vet that they care about the well being and comfort of your pet but only the money you bring in.
