I looked for a hairstylist for 5 years to provide a great haircut. I found one in Amanda Vincent! She is the only stylist is Sarasota I will let cut and color my hair.

Terrible experience. Ms. Vincent is rude, uncultured and has a really low-class British accent that got on my nerves. And if you don't know what a good hair salon is then it will pass. Like everything else decor is gaudy, overdone and pompous. It is somewhat expensive but it is not really worth it. Sarasota lacks good hair salons but there are others that are better.

when I recently moved to the Sarasota area, coming from NYC looking for a knowledgeable, experienced hair dresser, and being in the hands of of a loving caring top hair dresser in Manhattan at Oscar Blandi, I gave it a shot at this Amanda salon recommended by someone and the energy in this salon is only to be described as a pest. I left shaking by the powerful present of an arrogant woman, who was then simply dictating order to individuals in her surrounding completely disrupting the peace I yearned to feel when essencially having some time for myself. in my humble opinion and it's only my experience facing the level of rudeness a woman like me has seen in my lifetime when paying for service expecing at least peace in the energy, instead its chaotic and I can only send her back the energy she exudes and hope one day she will no longer have the priviledge to help others in this lifetime touching our private lives sitting in the rotten energy in her energetic field and passing it on to every single person she touches via the spiritual intention that only induviduals so high in their sensitivity can detect inmediately and it is how some have the power to help others by sharing their individual experiences and intuition leads the rest. you be the judge if you visit this store and if its in alignment or not with you as it clearely is not for me and heaven will instigate divine justice in the future for this rotten place in the spirit starting with the owner herself.

I really enjoyed my recent visit to the Amanda Vincent salon. Brooke highlighted and toned my hair to Perfection and I love my color! I definitely will be going back to this beautiful salon in downtown Sarasota. It doesn't get better than this.

Be careful- this is not a salon for the faint of heart. Owner is abrasive, arrogant, and unapologetic, but is extremely talented- also unbelievably expensive. Her prices rival the best of NYC or LA, so be prepared.
