Bobby did a fantastic job on what was a complicated ask. He was able to level out a custom wood root table base for us so that there was no wobbling or tilting. The table is fully functional now and there is no sign of any work that was done to the table. He and his team are extremely diligent, communicative, and professional. Would highly recommend them.

What a wonderful person! Bobby does not just restore or repurpose. He treasures the story of your piece. He will help you decide to restore, repurpose, or help you think of the exact right way to help you with your piece. He lives the story of each piece and handles business with warmth, care and respect for your needs. Call him! A great guy doing great work!

Bobby did a great job repairing our dresser. We had a leg snapped off during our relocation and Bobby fixed it good as new!

Unfortunately the owner does not have the ability to do any out of the ordinary furniture refinishing, nor can he deliver on time and with quality.

I had a table that was in serious need of help to bring it back to life. He did a great job, stayed on timeline, and was reasonably priced. Fantastic work! Would recommend!!

A shoddy job, a poorly run business, a waste of time and money and I would say the kook who runs it is mentally unbalanced. I was moving out of State and wanted to refinish my bedroom set Rob or "Bobby" as I have seen him referred to arrived 3 hours later than his scheduled time. He gave an outrageous price for the work but we ultimately made a deal for the work which was cash and a teak dining table. He does not have a functioning vehicle with which to do business, so he could only take the bedroom set because he rented a van to drop off another client's items. He walked me through what he said the process would be like; "3-4 coats of lacquered paint". He swore the finish would be durable. Well I think he did one coat while high on fumes because paint overspray is everywhere. As well as ripples and drip marks that dried so the finish is marred. He also removed some brass fixtures and damaged them and left several spots uncovered by the paint color I chose. I went to see the pieces and he had them thrown in to his hoarded workspace. The items were not even in a position for him to work freely around them to prevent the disastrous results. When I mentioned this to him he blamed me because according to him he put other jobs aside to get my work done. Well I would have rather waited until the Rapture if it meant he could have done the promised job properly. Then he delivered the items and each was filthy and covered in dust and either coffee or diarrhea stains (I still cannot remove them). The movers who were loading the moving truck noticed areas missing paint and one of the brass features fell off. When I called Rob he was angry and agitated but agreed to show up at a time and correct it. The place where I was storing has a firm policy about performing any repair or maintenance work on site and when I tried mentioning this he told me I "worry too much" and I am a "demanding woman". I had to remind him I am the customer and a woman who knows what she wants and his lazy effort was not it... He never showed and then told me his car broke down. He then set another day to show and repair his work and did not even call. Now I didn't come across Rob by accident. I knew his father. His father was a humble and hardworking man who did excellent work and his work was worth the price. If he couldn't do a job, he said so. He delivered on time and you were never left to question what was happening. He was upfront but honest. He refinished my dining set. He refinished some chairs for an in-law. All simply but with high professionalism. The fruit that is Rob has fallen so far from the tree it is not even of the same family of fruit. Can he do refinishing work? Maybe but the lies, manic behavior, sloppy workmanship, blame gaming, gas lighting and utter lunacy of dealing with Rob is not worth a second of time or a penny of funds. Look elsewhere for refinishing work.

Working with Bobby and Doug was a pleasure from start to finish. These chairs were made for me and are dear to me. They are on my much used lanai and have been subject to year round Florida weather. After years they became rough to touch. My husband and I are not proficient in wood restoration and were wise to call Bobby and Doug for the best outcome. Bobby and Doug came to look at the furniture after I'd sent a photo to discuss the work, expectations and price. The process was discussed as I wanted to be sure the chairs would be treated to be as weatherproof as possible, as I enjoy seeing them from indoors when not in use. I'm not one to cover them consistently. Bobby patiently explained the process and expected outcome. The chairs were picked up and a few weeks later, (based on the time it took to for the wood to process the treatments as applied). The chairs were delivered and placed in their original position. As you can see the before and after photos show a significant improvement. I expect these chairs to be around for generations to come and will certainly have them refinished if required. Do not hesitate to call! If Bobby and Doug can help you with your restoration you will be lucky to employ their excellent service! Thank you Bobby and Doug

I contacted Albertos, through Yelp around January 24th. Bobby called me on Feb 25th and we set an appointment for noon on the 26th. At 2:00 on the 26th I called him and he had completely forgotten our appt., could not remember that we live in Sarasota, and just finally said "I screwed up" and asked me to send him pictures, which I did. He did send me an email on March 2nd and asked some questions to which I responded that same evening. This morning @9:55 Bobby called to ask if I still wanted him to look at he furniture, which I did and we set an appt. for 3:30 this afternoon. I texted him at 3:47, no reply, and I just called his phone, it's 4:30, where there was no answer.
