My husband and I just stayed here for 4 days for a quick anniversary getaway. Let me just say that everything was fantastic! We don’t normally stay at resorts and Watercolor Inn exceeded our expectations. Our room was so beautiful complete with a hand written note, a cake, and champagne in the fridge from the front desk for our anniversary.
We felt pampered the entire time! The staff is very attentive and friendly.
The area of watercolor has 4 pools, a lazy river, 3 beach access points, beach service, several restaurants and bars, plus cute shops to explore. We also took advantage of the complementary bikes every morning and rode down to Greyton Beach or Seaside for breakfast and coffee.
Everything is so close we didn’t really have to get in our car! Very fun for us as a couple and we can’t wait to return with our kids next time.

Every staff member was friendly and helpful!!! Room was clean and housekeeping did a great job! The options for food and pools were great. We would definitely recommend.

Room service is disappointing and Fish Out of Water is overpriced and food is mediocre. Front desk and housekeeping are outstanding. Standards have changed since our first visit here. Gathering restaurant food is reliably good.

WaterColor Inn
This is our third summer staying at the Inn as a family. What sticks out to us and brings us back each year is the top notch hospitality (smiles, genuine conversation in the lobby and from staff out front, meeting our needs etc), proximity to a private beach and delicious food options, amazing private pools, beautifully designed rooms and amenities, fresh baked cookies on our beds each night, and flexibility when booking (we had to move our trip this year very last minute at no charge as I was going through morning sickness). We also went to Disney World this year and we talk about how much more magical it feels to stay at WaterColor Inn!
I casually mentioned our family would be celebrating our last trip as a family of 4 and we were greeted with the most adorable celebration cake and note. It made the trip feel so special and intentional. I was blown away with that upon arrival!
Fish Out of Water Restaurant is so fresh and delicious. The view of the ocean is amazing. I felt that it was very kid friendly and the waiters there are next level kind and intentional. They anticipate your needs and I ended up with 3 half full teas with no complaints!
To sum up my review; (there’s so much good I could say) genuine hospitality is what sets this place apart from the rest!
Thank you WaterColor Inn, for a peaceful and fun last trip for just the 4 of us as we anticipate baby sister coming this Fall.

Where to start… this resort is a little slice of heaven on earth. From the moment you pull up, you are warmly and promptly greeted. Check-in was informative and seamless, and we were offered cold water immediately, which was a really nice touch.
Our room was gorgeous, clean, and came with a great little welcome basket to greet us. The nightly turn-down service was a really nice yet unexpected touch that we loved. The views of the Gulf were breathtaking, and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony to savor our morning coffee.
Bar service by the pool was prompt and cheerful. The beach was great, but do be prepared to reserve chairs in advance and realize they do cost extra. The beach chair service, like everything else, was excellent.
Every time we walked through the lobby, the staff greeted us by name, which made us feel special. On the night of our 25th anniversary, we visited Fish on the Water Bar for champagne and dessert, and we were blown away by the attentiveness of the staff upstairs as well.
This was our first stay, and it definitely won’t be our last. We loved everything about it!
Rooms: Clean, bright, welcoming.
Walkability: Easy to walk, plenty of sidewalks and walking trails to walk around the area.
Food and drinks: Great variety and plenty of close by dining options as well as plenty onsite.

My husband and I travel to 30A at least once or twice a year. We’ve always stayed at various home rentals, but this time we decided to give Watercolor Inn a try. This is now going to be our go to spot. Since the minute we stepped foot in the door the staff made us feel like family…. Maybe even like VIP guests. We were showered with extra treats and endless amenities. This weekend was also my birthday and the hotel made sure to celebrate me with an extra surprise. Access from our room to the beach was a breeze and the convenience of the beach chair set up was well worth the price. All of the food and drinks we had on location did not disappoint. Also, we cannot thank Randy at the front desk enough. He was always checking in with us and making sure we had everything we needed even when leaving the resort for dinner or excursions. He was so caring that even my 7 year old son was excited to see him every time we walked back into the building. The service was above and beyond. Especially in a world where we usually pay a high price for mediocre service. Watercolor Inn was worth every penny and we cannot wait to come back!! Thank you from the Sparks Family!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Everyone here was so friendly, the facility was clean, beautiful views, loved the nightly cookies, and the location was excellent. We will definitely be back!
