We wandered in while shopping the surrounding stores and fell in love! We went home and ended up booking a class for the next morning! Making your own shard art is so much fun and a totally unique experience. I wish we had a place like this back home! It's a little pricey, but they let me and my mom work together on a project and we only had to pay for the 1 class (although in the end we ended up buying a couple extras to give as gifts). A few things to keep in mind: your 1 hour session will FLY by. I wish they gave a little more time, because it did feel like we were rushing the whole time to get it done. I 100% recommend that you already come in with a plan of what you want to create, so you don't lose time trying to decide once you're there. We looked up ideas on Pinterest the night before and had a photo to reference while we worked, which helped tremendously. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and they're great about giving suggestions, helping with the glass cutting, or even finding that missing piece you need. 10/10 would do this again!

I love The Shard Shop as well as the ladies who work there! The classes were so informative and fun! I’ve enjoyed the classes so much I have participated in more than one! I’ve also taken what I’ve learned to my home, ordering glass from them frequently and creating more art in my own house. Thank you Shard Shop!!

We had SO much fun visiting the Shard Shop while in town. They provided a lot of great supplies and the employees were very helpful. The location is great but might want to arrive early to find parking. I left off one star because I think they should make the sessions an hour and a half, or at least leave some time between sessions as a buffer. It's difficult to get your piece done in an hour, especially if you have multiple children with you that need some extra support. The staff does a good job moving everyone along, but it also can seem a little pushy because they are trying to get you out in an hour. I asked if they had a class coming in right after us and they said yes. When we left, my aunt was literally sweating haha and we looked at each other and said, "What just happened?!" It was a whirlwind! It would have been more enjoyable if we had just 30 more minutes to be more relaxed while we made our art.

This was an enjoyable experience. The ladies working knew what they were doing and helped you achieve the artwork that you wanted. It was fun cutting the chards of glass into shapes to use for your artwork.

This was so fun to do with my 6 year old daughter! They had lots of stencils to choose from or you could do your own design and the instructors were very helpful to both of us! There were so many beautiful colors of glass to choose from and you can cut your own from larger pieces or use the tiny glass in containers on the tables! They provide safety glasses and gloves. It’s a good idea to book your class a few days in advance! You have to come back to pick up the art usually 1-2 days after or they can ship it home! Super unique and cool activity to do! Such talent and endless opportunities for creating with the variety of materials they have! So happy to have discovered this art studio !

We came across this shop when we had lunch in the area and it seemed like such a neat opportunity so I brought my daughter and her friend back later that afternoon to make a custom art piece out of glass. Very friendly staff. I would highly recommend. The price was very reasonable since they were under 13.

We were looking for something to do in January while visiting Grayton for our anniversary and happened upon The Shard Shop. It was such a fun and unique experience, plus it was the perfect cold, rainy day activity. Would probably be great to escape the heat as well. We come back every year and it doesn't disappoint. The pieces are a lovely addition to our home and my office. Can't wait to go back. 10/10 would recommend.

Great experience!We had so much fun creating our own piece of art. There were big variety of templates and glass options. Also, have to mention that store assistant young girl was extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely our spot to be back.Thank you !
