Capt Pete absolutely killed it for my family’s guided fishing trip. The boat was all prepped and ready at the dock the moment we pulled up, and had a line in the water at one of his fishing-holes within 15 minutes. Caught multiple Spanish, blues, trout, as well as a handful of big Reds. Sage was also an animal with constantly getting rods setup and baited the moment we caught each fish. Arms were honestly pretty exhausted at the end by how many fish I had to reel in. Planning on using them each time we come down now.

My father and I went out with Pete and his son…they did not disappoint. We limited out and had a great time…I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. I strongly encourage anyone who wants a great experience to reach out to Pete! Awesome guy!

Booked a trip with captain Pete and he put us on some nice trout and redfish, had a great time with the family the kids loved it and we will definitely be returning.

My 11 year old son and I had a great time out with Captain Pete and Petey. They are great with kids. They put us on a bunch of fish, even though a lot of captains were struggling to find the bite that day. They were great fun to talk to, and very knowledgeable about the area and wildlife. We will absolutely go again next time we are back in town.

We had the best time with Captain Pete and Sage! Even though the fish weren't biting as much-he made sure my son caught a few (which made his day!). Pete was so knowledgable and really made our time informative. Not to mention his great deckhand Sage! Both did a great job!Would highly recommend!

Thanks to captain Pete and deckhand Sage for a great day on the water. Avoided storms and boated several trout and one Spanish mackerel. Crew was very knowledgeable and accommodating and it was a pleasure to be aboard. I highly recommend Shallow Minded Charters for a great bay trip in South Walton without enduring Hwy 98 traffic to Destin. Thanks for a great time!

Called Pete about a last minute charter while I was in Florida. They were able to cater to every component of the trip to make it easy for me. Joe picked me up at the scheduled time/place and was very knowledgeable of the water, putting us in the right spots with the right lures. I usually enjoy fishing my own way/technique but I'll book these guys anytime I visit Florida.

Pete and Joe were fantastic! My wife and I had a great time fishing in shore with them. Very helpful,friendly, on time and easy to communicate with. Don’t hesitate to use them for your in shore fishing charter. Highly recommended!!

We fished with Shallow minded Charters for the second time this year and had a great time. Caught plenty of fish and learned a lot about the area. Overall, a great experience, captain and would definitely book them again.
