The greeter at the door on 3/1/24 felt a little too comfortable making comments about my pregnancy. She asked me to turn around so she could look at me and guess what gender baby I was having.. then proceeded to tell me she guessed it was a girl because “girls suck the beauty out of the mothers”.. so don’t go in this place unless you have confidence of steel.

I have never been to a store that was so embarrassingly rude. The workers in there are so judgmental and snooty. Highly don’t recommend. They seriously need an attitude check. Worst shopping experience I’ve ever had.such an uncomfortable experience

They carry some beautiful clothing and other items, but the clerks are very snooty. I dropped in while shopping in Seaside, and the girls were all lined up and standing near the door. They very quickly size you up when you walk in, and then continue chatting without even greeting you. You could just feel their snobbery in the air and it was quite uncomfortable. I left and will not be returning.

picture this: trendy mini aisles of corduroy pants, leather jackets, even some coastal granny chic button downs, all under the soft, yet thematic cacophony of christian christmas music among equally christian decor for sale. one would think with so much retail emphasis on bible verses and making Jesus pinterest worthy, the women working there would be storefront exemplars of biblical love. alas, these employees who would not even be cast as Desperate Housewife Reunion extras, seem to think they are doing the world a favor by casting sideways glances at anyone who doesn't go to their presumably exclusive tupperware parties. a lot of condescension for people peddling clothes one notch above Shein quality and style. save your money and get some crab cakes down the road instead

Cute cute store and I found some really fun things I wanted to buy but the ladies in there (Allison especially!!!) were the absolute rudest people ever. They were staring at me like I was going to shoplift or something. Will never go back and will also tell all my friends who love Seaside as well. So disappointed.

Allison has to be absolute rudest salesperson I have ever met. My favorite store in seaside. We just spent a lot of money to be treated poorly. Shannon is a gem so sad to be treated this way.

They carry Barefoot Dreams. These are my favorite brand of pajamas and worth the price. Cute store with lots to look ok at.

The clothes and other items were so cute, but the employees were entirely disrespectful and condescending when helping me and my daughter. I wished I could have returned the clothes and said, "my money is better spent elsewhere!" Total disappointment!

I visited Seaside last week. I was looking for a gift for my friend who is big fan of Shalla Wista jewelry. They had exactly what I was looking for. Cristina helped me to see how it layers with pieces my friend already had, very friendly customer service. Will visit again.

I was so delighted when I recently was visiting Seaside Florida and while browsing the various shops, I came upon Mercatile. What a delightful experience. Upon entering I was warmly greeted, and I was already overwhelmed with the entire experience. The store was an extremely inviting and was so impressed with the team and how they seemed to work in synergy like they were welcoming me into their family. I was assisted by Donna and what a stylist. I fell in love with so many different styles. What an amazing store and experience. I’ll be back the next time I’m up there.

My favorite shop for last minute gifts. I love their bags and they will always add extra tissue and ribbon so that it is party ready! Also love the clothes they carry. I just bought some cute linen pants and top. Perfect for summer!
