Ace hardware is the place I go when I need a specific piece of hardware and knowledgable service. In this case, I needed a lock box key made and was not willing to pay $10 for it to be ordered at the self-service machine at Walmart. Here it was 2 for $5 and done as I waited. Thank you, guys. You're the best!

I don't know how they are for lumber, but the "hardware" portion of the store is absolutely horrible. Every time I've had to go there, out of necessity, they've never had what I needed. Couldn't get a deep 3/4" socket, a breaker bar (didn't see any shelf tags indicating that they even carry them), or any clear plastic/vinyl tubing (they don't even carry tubing) today. I walked out with nothing that I needed, yet again. I asked staff where ratchets were and they took me to where ratchet straps were, not ratchets that hold sockets and where breaker bars would be. They also didn't have any very short ratchet extensions in stock with 3/8" drive. I can't wait until the big Ace by Publix finally opens up. I also normally drive to the Ace in Miramar Beach, even though it's so much further away. That just wasn't an option for me today. I really hope I'm able to find a way to get this "project" done tomorrow/this weekend that I really HAVE to get done or I might be screwed more than I already am at the moment. DO NOT GO HERE if you're looking for small stuff that makes a big difference.

Used to be decent back in the day. I dunno what happened but when you call to ask questions they tell you to come in and look...... I've used them 4 or 5 times since I've moved back to Florida and it's bad customer service, store is dirty, staff isn't knowledgeable about what they have in stock. I get a bunch of "oh I dunno" or "I think we do", "I'm not sure what's back ther in the shed you will just have to come look." I hope I never have to use them again.

Great little lumber yard they have what you need most of the time and the staff are great! Good selection of lumber and building supplies and other things they're just around the corner so you don't have to travel too far. Go check them out and see if they have what you need.

This is the best lumber store store in Northwest Florida I have been doing business with them For close to 30 years. I would recommend them to anybody for anything any time of the day. They are polite ,attentive to all your needs.
