Cute store filled with interesting merchandise and a boat load of old costume jewelry.Don't attempt to take a picture of anything in the store. You will be ridiculed sharply and told that they are protecting their artists who supply their merchandise.I purchased several items believing they were made by a local artist (as I was led to believe) or an artist in general. The items I purchased were glass and they came out with boxes to pack the items in. These were the boxes the products came in ... FROM CHINA! When I got home, I looked over the boxes and it's very apparent that these items were imported from China with identifying marks, numbers, etc. on the boxes.I enjoy the items I purchased, however, the initial chastising was uncalled for and unwarranted as it appears much of the merchandise is from ... CHINA.I believe the facade they spin attempting to protect 'local artists' is merely an attempt to appear more upscale than the reality of their situation. The hoard of costume jewelry is cataloged and very neatly displayed in a tray style jewelry case that rotates with the push of a button. Categories include things like: Christmas, Dogs, Sea Life, Flowers, etc. almost all of it appears vintage. In the Christmas drawer, I saw stuff J.C. Penny's sold in the early 90s. Again, nothing wrong with this at all, just not quite what I'd expect to find in a store that is attempting to cultivate an upscale atmosphere. The items throughout are unique and visually pleasing. The vibe ranges from vintage to steampunk to beach souvenirs, beach kitchen decor, and home accent pieces (pillows, throw rugs, dish towels, drink coasters etc.). They carry some hand blown glass jelly fish lights that are exquisite, but again, they may poke your eyes out if they catch you taking an image to show your friends/family that are 8 states away. I have to wonder how many people will actually take up the art of hand blown glass in order to avoid dropping $1,200 on a glass jelly fish chandelier, therefore, what's the issue in allowing customers to snap images. In any event, this store appears to be mostly stocked with vintage costume jewelry and imported giftware made in China.

A wonderful store on Sainbel. I have been coming here for 16 years and have never been disappointed. Wonderful gifts. Staff is friendly and helpful. They even took the time to carefully and meticulously wrap my purchases so I could travel home with them on the airplane. I would highly recommend!

I live locally in the winter months and shop here often for gifts and pieces for my home. The items at Pandora's are lovely and unique. To the person from Texas who rebuked the staff in an earlier review for denying him entry when maskless, I would like to remind him that Sanibel law requires masks inside stores. I thank the helpful and gracious staff at Pandora for safeguarding everyone's health and for being courteous every time I shop in their store.

We went and visited on a weekend trip, and the items were beautiful and the staff was helpful. I fell in love with a blown glass jellyfish light, but I didn't end up buying it and regretted it afterwards. My husband later reached out to the staff who were so helpful in helping him choose a lamp to match our decor and got airmailed to us as a surprise. It arrived in Michigan in perfect condition, and it is absolutely gorgeous. I appreciate the staff going above and beyond, best surprise ever! I definitely plan on coming back!

Rude... had money in my pocket to shop... other stores did not have an issue with no mask.... if they would have offered me a mask I might have shopped but was instead asked to leave.... so with my wallet full I left

I have been going to Pandora's Box for years. Today I took my kids in their second store that has stationary and cards to pick out my mom's birthday card. We were in the store less than two minutes and the crotchety employee told my five year old not to touch a card he was picking out for his grandma, and then told my 4 year old not to touch a kid's book.....A KID TOUCHING A KID'S BOOK... seriously?! It's ok. I pulled a Julia Roberts in Pretty Women on her. Big mistake! BIG! HUGE!

Nice shop, we have been there many times in the past years. This year we purchased a couple of pieces of jewelry (Michou). Later we looked the artist up on line and realized we paid about double the retail price. Buyer beware I guess, you can't trust anyone.
