I had a problem connecting my bike chain. I stoped at Billiy’s to see if they could help me. Unfortunately, their bike chain tool was broken, and they were waiting for a part needed to repair it. Billy just happened to be there and overheard my problem. He was ready to head home, and asked me to follow him because he had the tool there that could fix my problem. He did the fix in his home workshop. No charge. He was so very helpful and kind.Steve Rieth

Terrible bikes. Broken seats, soaking wet. Unacceptably rude when confronted to the fact. Don't go there if you don't want to share sweat fluids with other bikers.

Very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend them if you are in need of rentals. They are so flexible and willing to help out with whatever you need. I look forward to our next visit and getting the rentals from them. Prices were very accommodating as well.

I have been a loyal and regular customer (local resident) for more than 8 years. I have purchased four bikes at Billy's and have done numerous rentals for guests every year. However, I have noted a significant and steady decline in both quality and customer service. In each of my last bike rentals, I have needed to return/exchange bikes that were broken or damaged. The bikes are old and don't appear to be well maintained anymore. Today, I called ahead to have my road bike serviced (it was purchased at Billy's) and offered that the work could be done at their convenience over the next two weeks since I would be traveling, which they said was fine. I dropped by with the bike an hour later. When I confirmed that I would pick it up in a few weeks as previously discussed, he said that this would be "up to Tom," which was a bit of a surprise. Tom told me there was no room to store my bike after being serviced. It was just a simple tune-up, so I suggested I leave the bike (it was early afternoon) and pick it up the following morning by noon, before my departure. Unfortunately, they would not guarantee it would be done by noon as they had "a few other jobs to do." They couldn't accommodate me, and, disappointingly, didn't seem very interested in trying, so I took the bike back home. This was a "second chance" visit - the last time I requested service, they said they were too busy and suggested I come back in a few weeks. I will get the tune-up done when I return, I will also be purchasing a new, upgraded road bike this summer, and I will continue to rent bikes for our guests. Sadly, I will not make these purchases with Billy's.

Not a great experience. Our bike that had a toddler carrier on it had a peddle that broke at the beginning of our trip. Two kickstands didn't work. The employee was giving our 11 year olds bikes that were way too big. I had to actually explain to him twice that the bikes were too big for them and how it wasn't safe.

I used this company to rent, purchase and maintain the bikes in my home. Company employees are very courteous, professional and helpful. Never had a bad experience and they stand by the work performed.

This bike store was so rude !! there was not one nice person in the place anything you asked and they would say I don’t know the bikes are low quality with bald tires just a very unfriendly place acted like they could care less if you were there and they didn’t care One way or the other if you chose to give them your business

Very professional staff and pleasantly helpful. I rented a Fuji hybrid bike for 2 days. The best $75 dollars I ever spent. The bike shifted nicely and seemed fairly new. I enjoyed all the paths and riding laps around Ding Wildlife Refuge. A quality rental experience. ??

Great bike shop with solid carbon road bikes to rent. I've done week rentals on three separate trips now and have had a great experience everytime. They put your pedals on and get the bike fit and then your set for a week of great rides. Sanibel is a great place to ride with safe roads, bike paths, and light traffic. The convenience of getting bike on island is impossible to overstate. The bikes (Jamis carbon framed with 105 components) have always been in great shape and are perfect for putting in the miles or taking a run at one of the islands many Strava segments.I can't recommended Billy's more highly.

They went above and beyond! Great attitudes, very helpful, and handled an emergency well. There were four of us out for a bike ride on a hot day. We stopped for a water break and one of our party passed out. We had to call an ambulance (our friend is fine after some IV fluids thankfully). We called the bike shop to explain our situation and they arrived to pick up our bikes before the ambulance even left. They even brought the rest of us ice cold water.

Unfortunately, three employees were closing up at 4:55pm and refused service so my kids could have bikes. If you want to punch the clock so badly at 5:00pm, get out of customer service or close at 4:45pm.

The easiest bike rental experience ever! If you're on the island, biking is the easiest way to get around. Billy's will not disappoint. Their prices are very reasonable and you can rent several types of bikes. It cost us a total of $50 for two bikes for three days. The check out process was simple and drop off couldn't have been easier. Will definitely do it again when we come back!
