Over the past few weeks, I had the pleasure of attending not one, but two bluegrass shows at Big Arts on Sanibel, and they were nothing short of amazing. If you're on the hunt for top-notch entertainment on this charming island, Big Arts is a gem that's not to be overlooked. What makes this venue stand out is its intimate setting. There truly are no bad seats in the house. You feel an immediate connection with the performers, thanks to the small and unique layout, which adds an incredibly personal touch to the concert experience. And the sound? Oh, the sound is just great. Every strum, every vocal nuance resonates perfectly, enveloping you in a rich tapestry of bluegrass melodies. This past visit, I had the joy of experiencing Alan Bibey & Grasstowne live. The energy, the talent, and the sheer joy of their performance were amazing. So, whether you're a local or just visiting the quaint and beautiful Sanibel Island, and looking for an evening of splendid entertainment, consider Big Arts. It's more than a venue; it's a vibrant community hub where the arts come alive.

I was so fortunate to learn pottery at Big Arts many years ago and made many friends here. The experience was magnificent.

What a surprise for such a small island to have a great art hall. The displays are unique. There is also an auditorium for performing arts. One year there was an art show where the visitors got to vote on their favorite pieces. It is worth the visit.

Great to be able to visit Big Arts this morning. We enjoyed the Fine Art Show, Creative Adventures. The mixed media, oil, collage and sculpture were delightful and inspiring. Spent about an hour in the gallery. There is a gift shop too.

Currently under investigation for vaxxine mandates by Florida Dept of Health! They allegedly wanted to force the jab on their staff along with patrons after their "friends" launched the OTHER vaXXine mandates? Oops!If you want to feel "safe", Ms. Director, stay at home!

Our own private gallery. Lots of works by the disabled and a gift shop filled with beautiful things by local artist. Beautiful new building with an auditorium & many restrooms. If it wasn't for Covid I'm sure it would've been a lot more going on

Geocaching adventure log brought me here. Couldn’t go in for a tour due to being closed. But got the answer to my question. The grounds well maintained.
