“Terry is a good guy and cares about what he does. This is a family run business and I had a very nice time I had chatting with the owner's wife, and son (and dog) while waiting for my battery to be installed. I was going to get towed into Ft Myers since AAA doesn't offer their highly publicized battery service on Sanibel (they should publicize that part)! But Terry jumped my SUV and said he had a battery in stock so that was that faster option for about the same price and saved me time and energy going 40 min each way into Ft. Myers. “I called to inquire on checking my brakes, as they sounded terrible. I called on a Thursday morning, was told the earliest on the schedule would be Wednesday the following week. However, Ben told me that they may be able to squeeze me in by Saturday since it was my brakes and viewed as an emergency. To my surprise, they called back and asked if I could bring it in that day. Since I didn't need my car, they did have it for almost two full days, but considering that they squeezed me in an already full schedule, I have absolutely no complaints with that. These guys are honest, they let you know what needs to be fixed now, something that may be in the future. I sent the invoice for my dad to review, since I don't know a thing about cars or really any auto repairs, and my dad was shocked I found such an honest auto repair shop. I can't express how happy I am that I brought my car here and will definitely be referring them in the future to my friends. Thank you so much, it feels like I have a brand new car!”

“This is a great team of people they do a very good job, and they are honest. I took my car to another place and they wanted $1600 before they even looked at the car. They were telling me that they already knew what it was going to be so I pulled my car out of there and I brought to better service and it only came out to be $265.dollars. “I took my 'new', 2007 Hyundai (only 14K miles) in for a checkup as I had purchased it recently. I originally thought I only needed some fluid exchanges . I asked them to verify that and also perform a safety check. I was glad I asked because they found a large crack hidden from view in a front tire that could have caused a blow-out. They also found cracks in some belts and said that even garaged cars with low mileage suffer from the heat down here. After all, it is 16 years old. I opted for new tires, alignment, belts, timing belt and fluid exchange. I think this was an excellent value at around $1600. They showed me quality work, an honest assessment and service I can trust. This was my first visit to Scotty's and I plan to use them the next time I need service.”

“I have an old spare car that I took to another shop. They fixed a few things and recommended me to go here to get a weld repair on my muffler/exhaust that had separated in one area and rattling. I made an appt and came today at 10am (2/12/24). One man/owner shop but he was very polite, got my car in, took a look, welded my muffler problem and out the door within an hour for a very reasonable price. I waited while he did the repair. The shop has been around a long time, the owner seems honest and straightforward, prices are reasonable. If it’s a repair that you can wait on, you can walk across to shopping center, go next door to Wendy’s Restaurant or wait in the small shop office area like I did (no TV/AC/other amenities that I saw) but it was fine for me because of the quick service and very reasonable price. Recommend you check out this place for mufflers or radiators.”

“As snow birds we started our trip back north today with our F-150 loaded to the brim and fully prepared to get a few hundred miles out of the way before stopping but of course the truck had other plans!The alternator went out on our way to the highway and we were stranded on the side of the road but not for long!!
