“Chilled auto air, went way above and beyond helping me with my 1958 Willys Wagon. Vacuumed and charged four times because of faulty compressors. It was crazy for me to think three compressors out of four had bad clutches. I will definitely bring all my business and any friend who needs AC or auto repair business back to these guys!”
“So, just before 4th of July, The wife and I moved our daughter to Pine Island for a new career. That's 13 hours from home. Of course we started having serious front end issues on her car.
We noticed Pine Island actually had a few auto repair shops with high ratings & good reviews. St. James Auto had the highest rating and we liked the reviews as they seemed genuine. So it was an easy choice, especially since we're antique lovers and animal lovers. B T W - the grey tabby shop cat is a real laid back love bug.
The shop had a lot of regular customers ahead of us since it was a Holiday week, but they understood my urgent situation. I dropped it off Tuesday, he diagnosed it, had it back to me Wednesday afternoon. He knew we needed our daughters car back on Wednesday so we could leave for home on Thursday morning and he came through for us.
When you dump your 25 year old little girl 13 hours from home, it's good to know she has a team of mechanics that will take care of her rather than take advantage of her. We had some major damage and replacement to the front brakes and it was just over $500. I was expecting much more.

I can't say enough good about Warren, he was polite and helpful. He instructed me to send my wife over and he would take care of the issue. He did just that, my wife was in and out in a timely manner. My wife said the staff was helpful and polite. “For years I had "a guy" who did all work on my vehicles. Happy with his work and prices but recently he dropped off the face of the earth.
Having been burned before I was VERY careful choosing a new mechanic. After what I felt was a somewhat exhaustive search I found Dash Mobile Mechanic. Great reviews so I reached out.
Dominic was the ONLY one who responded to my query. We agreed on a price beforehand and scheduled the day and time. He was also okay with the fact I buy my own parts. Other mechanics have given me pushback on this so that's an issue with me.
He showed up and got straight to work. 2 hours later the work was finished and everything put back together. He also insisted on accompanying me for the test drive. Again, something no other mechanic offered to do.
Test drive went great. New wheel bearing hubs, rotors, and brakes got rid of my issue. Car rides like new.
Best of all he charged me EXACTLY what we agreed on before he even showed up. I won't state the exact amount but suffice to say it's 60% less than two of the garages I spoke to.

“I have an old spare car that I took to another shop. They fixed a few things and recommended me to go here to get a weld repair on my muffler/exhaust that had separated in one area and rattling. I made an appt and came today at 10am (2/12/24). One man/owner shop but he was very polite, got my car in, took a look, welded my muffler problem and out the door within an hour for a very reasonable price. I waited while he did the repair. The shop has been around a long time, the owner seems honest and straightforward, prices are reasonable. If it’s a repair that you can wait on, you can walk across to shopping center, go next door to Wendy’s Restaurant or wait in the small shop office area like I did (no TV/AC/other amenities that I saw) but it was fine for me because of the quick service and very reasonable price. Recommend you check out this place for mufflers or radiators.”

From the start, Matt was super informative and professional.I have had the same issue out of my car for the past few months, and I was told multiple different things were wrong with my car and had gotten outrageous quotes to fix the “issues”. “As snow birds we started our trip back north today with our F-150 loaded to the brim and fully prepared to get a few hundred miles out of the way before stopping but of course the truck had other plans!The alternator went out on our way to the highway and we were stranded on the side of the road but not for long!!
