Wonderful staff, actually knowledgeable about the pets they have. We adopted and couldn't be happier!

We did not even make it past the front office. There were three staff members available, two men and one woman. We asked if we could visit the cats. One man started to give us directions to the adoption area, but the other two snapped at him, sharply letting him know that it had just closed. It was our misunderstanding because the office is open until 5 pm, but the adoption center closes at 4 pm. However, the staff showed such disdain for us that I will not be returning. It is sad to think that these are the people employed to care for these animals and assist new owners. They did not bother to try and help us, nor did they even make eye contact. I was going to volunteer here, but I am glad that I went in person first. The best part was the bird out front.

I adopted my cat here and I can't thank this place enough for making it happen. The adoption process was at ease and my fur baby was treated well at the shelter. He got all necessary vaccines and was fixed. He's super friendly and not afraid of people. I'm so happy to have this angel in my house.

This county shelter is run by a group of people who care deeply about what they do. Support them in whatever way you responsibly can.

We needed to call this service in order to pick up a very loving stray cat in order for one of our cats to resume going outside (loving to people, didn’t get along with animals). the worker assured us that he would be fixed and taken care of medically and then turned to a feral cat colony to live. That was about two weeks ago. Well, today, the same cat shows up on our door step sick as can be. He is sneezing multiple colors of thick snot, and is a hazard to be in the environment alone. Why this cat would first of all, be taken out of medical treatment, is absolutely absurd, and second of all, brought back when we were promised he would live in a feral cat colony in order to protect him and our cats, is despicable. I can not believe we trusted these people to take care of this cat and he randomly turns back at our door like this. Do not call these people for stray animals.

Very helpful staff. I went to just look at the cats and left with the sweetest little lady. The staff really care about the animals and want them to go to a good home. They even followed up to see how she was settling in. Best $5 I ever spent.

This place is the best. Huge building and it's very clean and organized. You don't have to sit around waiting for help, they have enough staff and they are all professional and very helpful. I Went with my family and adopted a little kitten, it was very easy and painless process. All the animals there are well cared for they just need a permanent home to make room for others. I encourage everyone to check it out. They accept donations and they have a lot of animals.

I adopted Dusty ("Kot/Cot") a few months ago and he is just the sweetest little boy. He loves sitting on our laps for hours and playing with his buddy Bingo (the half-Siamese he's hugging in the first photo). The adoption process was really simple and we still have the homemade bed I was given too. Thank you for a lovely experience!

GREAT GREAT SHELTER. I have adopted the prettiest most athletic mixed breed dog from here who now excels in life after we bonded by taking professional, fun training courses- She's my adventure buddy for life! I have recommended many friends and family to this shelter and many also have found their furever friends here!! They have loving animals who deserve a home, and for VERY reasonable adoption fees! Don't be discouraged if your new best friend isn't there on your first visit -Keep visiting! IT'S WORTH IT. 10/10

My wife and I want to say thank you again to Julie at the front desk on 10/12/23 at 10:30am. Yesterday was a very sad day for our family loosing a loved pet member and you made the process so easy for us. You went out of your way to make sure our cat wasn’t going to be in pain anymore and you allowed us to come in right away on the same morning we called you. For this we will never forget your kindness. Thank You!I hope the flee meds we donated helps out a lot.Best,Christopher and Heather

Went for volunteer orientation, and it's much larger than I imagined. They have so many awesome dogs and cats too adopt, and today you could adopt for ten dollars any dog. They have a small"boutique"area you can purchase items for your pet at discounted prices.
