I went to this store on a Monday afternoon. It was not very busy but I could not find an associate anywhere as I had a question. The only employees available were the fabric cutter and one cashier. People were waiting a long time for fabric cutting and since she was the only person available to ask a question, I thought I'd ask. She was very rude and answered me in a short way and told me to wait. There was no one else around to ask this question and believe me, I looked all through the store. I put my merchandise on a shelf and walked out. I will not go back again. I'll travel to Daytona Beach to the Joann's there.

I see why Joann Fabrics is going out of business. Went to this store the lights were broken and not on, had to shop in the dark. Waited in line for 25 min at cutting counter only one employee working. Then waited another 25 min. At checkout, only one employee working. How do you run an entire store with 2 employees!?

Was there browsing and got a couple of things. I was in line about 3 people back and watched Dawn at the check out counter give some of the best customer service I have seen in a long time. She was quick while checking people out , and helpful to everyone. Even giving tips and tricks for certain projects. I watched her do this over and over again. It was a pleasure to see that type of customer service. It's been a long time since I have seen that in any retail setting for a few years.

I'm giving two stars based on my experience with a staff member. I do love the store and the products they have, but todays experience was very unpleasant.While walking into the store, I saw a basket full of blankets for sale. I stopped and picked one up that was already opened and decided it was too small. I continued shopping in the store for about 30 minutes, and by now, I had a cart full of stuff, when I was suddenly stopped by a young employee who asked me if I was the one looking for a wreath. I replied no and continued on my way when she then stopped me again and stated, " Just for future reference, dont open/ Untie the blankets." I kindly informed her it was already opened when I picked it up, but she continued to question the situation. I did not want to be rude, so I finally just smiled and walked away.Don't get me wrong, working in retail is not easy, especially during the holidays. People can be rude and messy, but I'm not that person, but no matter the situation, she should not make customers feel uncomfortable nor make false accusations.

I don’t know if today was just an off day because it’s my only time shopping here - but this place is, in a word… gross. Went in to get cake decorating items and I felt like the store was understocked. Also dirty floors and disorganized. Random step stools and other types of retail stocking items in several aisles… the cart I used had an oily substance all over it so I had to buy hand wipes in the checkout… cashiers were yelling across the store and seemed super unhappy… the cashier was so unfriendly I witnessed several customers not say a single word through the check out process in front of me… not even eye contact from the cashier. Just a “yikes” overall. I also can’t imagine this was super different than every other day so uh - definitely will not come back.

Having been here a lot I can honestly say it's went downhill drastically. I think today was the last straw for me. I came here specifically for a new lineup from Happy Planner. Multiple items show in stock on the app but when I asked someone for help, she casually glanced around and said, "it might be in the clearance section" after I specifically asked whether they could be in the back storeroom. A brand new 2024 planner is not going to be in the clearance section. Clearly she didn't want to help me. I've heard rumors in the craft community that Joanns might be going bankrupt. If this is how all stores are, there might be some truth to it.

JoAnns is my favorite craft store It's always a good experience, but today I was there shortly after opening and while standing in line you could visibly see some severe stress in the cashier's face. The poor young girl looked so stressed out to the point that she wasn't offering any type of interaction and rang up a woman in front of me without offering her a bag that the customer grabbed her own bag. I was also not offered a bag. My hope is that the manager sit down and talk with this girl to see if she is okay. And maybe offer some more cashier help when they see they are busy first thing in the morning. My heart goes out to that poor young girl. ♥️

It's sad to see the store go downhill. The store seemed to be in disarray and they were low on staff causing money of us to wait in the checkout line much longer than usual. The employees didn't acknowledge the long wait time or apologize for the delay. Avoided eye contact etc.

Purchased a skeleton from this location. One of the parts was missing, came in to exchange it. The Manager Tia I believe? Was so helpful and very kind. Her other employee working as well was very friendly. Overall great customer service. Great location.

Don t ask the lady behind the cutting fabric some advices or calculate fabric needed. She feels annoyed, she even gave me her calculator to do her job. She is grumpy. So I will order fabric on line.

Very upset that the hours have been shortened for this store. I work daily from 9-6 and usually stop by after work on my way home since they closed the location in Orange City many years ago. I will have to shop at Orange City Hobby Lobby instead so I don't waste time driving out of my way to make it during these new hours.
