A great little shop to browse and enjoy; with an interesting array of German clothing, nutcrackers, and other assorted imports & items. It provides a nice addendum to dining at Hollerbachs and/or indulging at the German Market (eg. the Nutella creme roll, bee sting croissant etc.). This is yet another other pleasurable option, while exploring downtown Sanford.

Stopped in to get an authentic outfit for an Oktoberfest themed dinner party. I was greeted upon entry and proceeded to help myself. I needed a dirndl; They had tons of sizes. I started with size 40 and 42. I grabbed a few dirndls off the rack as well as some blouses and headed toward the fitting room. The fitting room is a makeshift one- metal bars with curtains. It doesn't close completely and there is no where to put your purse. So I hung my purse from one of the hangers that I hung over the bar. They have a floor length mirror outside of the two fitting stalls. So I was going in and out a bunch, and no one cared. I even went back to the racks to get more blouses. They offered to help but I was fine. I found a blouse and a dirndl I liked and headed toward the register. They didn't have a lot of jewelry items, but I did take a quick look. They had some funny aprons that looked like you were wearing traditional clothing. They had hats as well. The prices are a bit steep since everything is legit. The dirndls appeared to be $249-$299 and the blouses around $40. So be prepared if you're looking to buy. They wrapped up my stuff nicely and gave me some recommendations for shoes. I was happy to have an outfit that will last and can be worn for many events.

We just had a wonderful experience while purchasing outfits for our upcoming Oktoberfest celebration. The employees were attentive and helpful, walking us through sizing and adjustments on both lederhosen and dirndl. My family will be back for future purchases!

This shop has a bunch of German-inspired goods, but the real standout is their Oktoberfest apparel including dirndls and lederhosen. It's super cute and prices are fair, though I do wonder what they sell outside of Christmas given they had a lot of ornaments out up front on the shelves.

I am writing this review and wish I could give no stars due to the attitude and disposition of the clerk in the store. When I entered the store there were some other people leaving. The clearly actually raised her voice at me and told me to shut the door. I came in to see the price of a large Christmas Santa in the window. I asked the price and the clerk picked up the item and told me. I then asked if there was any after Christmas sale and she didn’t answer. I thought maybe she didn’t hear me so I asked again. I was very rudely told “look that is the price”. I did decide to purchase the item and I lifted it from the display to carry to the register and I was told don’t do that I have them in boxes in the back. So, a boxed item was brought from the back. I asked if I could open the box and see the item to make sure there was no damage before I paid for it. There were no other people in the store; so, I wasn’t holding anyone up. I was then told that the item had never been opened. I said it could still have been damaged during shipping etc. I was spending $149.00 and wanted to be sure. The clerk then rolled her eyes and opened the box. On my way out of the store I wanted to make a point about how disrespectful I had been treated so I said “ thank you got your kindness today and the Clerk literally laughed in my face. The employee was rude from the moment I stepped into the store until the moment I left. Such poor customer service when really anything can be purchased online today. Why would anyone shop there and tolerate nasty employees with bad attitudes who treat customers like dirt.

My mom and I purchased these cute $60 shirts for an Oktoberfest, but were never able to wear them because they were literally coming undone. We gently washed them before use, as one should, by soaking them inside out, letting them lightly spin through the machine, and hanging them to dry. Per the instructions. Upon hanging to dry, we noticed that the rosette’s on both of our shirts with unraveling and the border on my mom’s shirt had begun to fray out. I brought the shirts back to the shop to show the ladies and see about any exchanges, but our sizes weren’t in stock. Then I asked about any refunds, at least for my mom’s, because I could likely fix mine, they looked at me a little uncaring and said we don’t really do those. So I walked back out, with $120 worth of shirts that I’ll have to fix or take apart to be able to use. The Dirndl’s are fine here, but do not purchase anything else. It’s not worth your money and they don’t do anything to make it right.
