Reserved a car they said they had it in stock on the website I got to the business and they told me they didn't have the car I requested. This budget center should be shut down the building and parking lot looks very bad

Starting the review with saying both Raj and Eric are amazing humans who do try to help. Raj showed me the ropes on how to use the vehicle as I hadn’t driven a fully electric one at this time. They got handed a weird lot and sometimes in retail / customer service industries that can be bigger deal.The car itself, wasn’t my cup of tea -there was a little delay as to which location and just finding charging stations ??♀️Although, the experience was educational and I’d probably never have driven a tesla otherwise.It’s easy to be frustrated, just remember that customer service isn’t for the faint of heart. BE KIND! ☺️?

Be careful with this location they tried to make a false claim that their car was damaged and couldn't prove it. Contacted me nearly a month after the rental trying to charge me for the repair. Lucky enough customer service stopped it.

The owner was really nice and professional.It’s not a large car rental place, so I can see why people haven’t gotten the vehicle they exactly expected, but there were a lot of other good options. I payed for a sports car, and ended up getting a luxury instead so I didn’t have to wait. Overall a good experience.

Great service at this location but unfortunately your Orange city partner is making you lose long term customers.I wanna start by saying I’ve used budget for almost ten years whenever we travel. I’m aware that different locations have different requirements. I understand that traveling throws you through some hoops and not everything goes as planned. We’ve had issues in the past and they always get resolved. Inconvenient at times yes, but when dealing with cara and humans that calls for some flexibility. That being said Nelson, in orange city, should not have a job.We initially exchanged our rental just a couple days after picking up due to a dead battery and brake issue. We had no problem at the Stanford location with this exchange. The gentleman was extremely helpful with the process and extending our rental. Thank you!Fast forward a few days later…. A rock hit my windshield in the van. I thought no big deal, I’ll let them know on drop off. The next day I woke up and due to the Florida heat the crack had grown. So I called budget and they advised me to exchange bc the heat will crack the windshield completely before we leave.I spent all Saturday morning running around to 4 different budgets bc the gentleman (at orange city) who helped me, processed a return not an exchange and then started flipping out on me saying I asked for a return. He was rushing to go get his car from the Toyota dealership. And that’s why he messed up. We had laughed about the Florida weather and cracks. I clearly told him I would have kept it till the end of my trip but BUDGET advised me to come exchange. He laughed, mocked, and was okay leaving me and my little niece stranded. He was gaslighting and refused to admit his mistake. He was lying to his district manager and refused to let me speak to him. Said he will call back in two mins.30 minutes later he rented me the same “damaged” vehicle for an extraordinary rate. When I corrected him he said he was adding the initial discount I had. When I got to the car I realized he was charging me by hour and day not weekly. The next location didn’t have a vehicle to exchange. When I went to the closest airport to exchange they told me orange city reported the car overdue and stolen and the paperwork he gave me wasn’t accurate. He didn’t apply a discount he rented the car for one day. Smh! They couldn’t help me. I would have to drive 40 mins to Orlando. It was already past 1 o clock on a SATURDAY. I will never rent through them again. I never had issues that weren’t resolved until this ORANGE CITY, Florida location. Nelson needs to take accountability for his mistakes! Budget needs to hold him accountable or fire him.This exact manager, which isn’t his title but what he called himself(also owner), has many bad reviews, recent bad reviews, about exchanges gone wrong. Budget needs to retrain or kick him to the curb asap. You’re loosing valuable customers and will continue to share this horrific incident and waste or my weekend everywhere.Please let your district manager or corporate office know that this I harming your reputation.

We showed up to pick up our rental car this morning at this location and no one was there. Called their customer support and they almost refused to help us and recommended that we just wait. What a joke. Thankfully there was another one close enough that will honor the agreement but everyone from this location is being sent to this location and they are out of cars. What a way to run a business.

Horrible customer service when returning the vehicle. DH was on the phone talking about a vehicle that needed a master cylinder. Didn’t even say I’ll be with you in a moment. DH then gets off the phone and said returning a vehicle. Then proceeds to ask me to park the vehicle in any space. As it was raining I was thinking I was helping. DH didn’t want to move the vehicle himself. So I did park it but told him I did mind. Maybe DH didn’t want to get wet. DH said I should not of parked in front of the building. I explained no signs on where to park returning vehicles. DH needs customer service training.

Where do I begin ...this place is ridiculously slow. It’s one person working and the day I picked my car up he was 8 mins late the day I dropped my car off he was 18 mins late . When running a business that is unacceptable. In addition , while I’m waiting to return the vehicle people that have came in after me is leaving before me . I’m utterly disgusted with the customer service and will be contacting corporate . I will not be doing business with this company again .

I open the door I could feel and taste the mold as soon as I walked in. And the nice man that helped us was wearing a mask because of mold. It says right there in the main lobby

No hassle at picking up or returning the car. Picked Kia Rio or similar & got a Toyota Prius Hybrid. Car rode smooth & was awesome on gas.

I do not recommend this place. The car was returned with a full tank of gas and we got charged $55 for a fuel fee because “the computer didn’t read full” even though it obviously said full. We filled it up right before bringing it back and returned it with more gas than it had in it when we got it. We had to drive over an hour to put oil in the car because a message popped up twice saying add oil. Raj was very rude when we asked to be reimbursed for the oil (not our time or gas) and then added several nonsense fees to the bill that amounted to WELL OVER the cost of the oil. On top of the absurd fees, poor customer service and attitude, the place is a dump.

The man named Raj at the Sanford Florida location was extremely rude, he barely spoke and when he did it was with an attitude. He added a fuel fee for a full tank of gas because of the gas it took for us to get from the gas station to the return lot after we filled it up completely. He wouldn’t let us take the car out and refill it or bring gas there, he said “there is nothing you can do”. He also gave a lot of attitude when we asked for reimbursement for an oil change we had to do on the car while we had it. Do not go here, they will find ways to get you to pay extra for things out of your control.

Only reason I give this 5stars is solely cause Erick or Eric was just amazing and welcoming and accommodated all my needs. I hope you see this but THANK YOU!
