Such a great experience. You learn so much. Wear comfortable shoes. You will do a ton of walking. Parking is really far from the entrance. It’s extremely loud since they use cannons. Bring ear plugs. Also suntan lotion and sun glasses are a must. Last time I was there they had food and drinks you could buy.Restrooms: They are port a potties

A small 1 mile walk around the battlefield, with storybook stands around the walk. Each storybook told of each battle that took place and what the outcome was. In the long run, the south won the battle, stopped the north from reaching the train depot, but eventually lost the war.

Well worth a stop. Not overpopulated with monuments which I prefer. The walking tour takes about 45 minutes to an hour. There are plans to build a new visitor center which will give a more complete interpretation of the battle but the current film is quite good. Highly recommended.

It was nice to visit a historical site in North Central Florida. The video at the visitor center was very good.

Thought there was little to see and you'd be better off going online to get less baised information as the video was better than the prose of the monument of recorded deaths. Hoping the new place will more neutral and go farther to placing an equal deserved place in history of the unión deaths. Should place an equally sized momument for the Unión nearby, not far away and unseen. The battled only served to lengthen an already losing war since cutting off the west on the Mississippi and blockades were wearing down the south in many ways.Ps don't pull in with large vehicle since it will be difficult to turn around.

This was a fun little jaunt from nearby Ocean Pond campground. If you are not a hiker, it’s an excellent spot to stop, stretch your legs, learn a little history, and maybe have a picnic. If you are a hiker, there’s a scenic trail you should definitely check out! :)

Great park to visit. Had a small museum. We loved walking the path to read the informational signs all the way around. Cool to see they are building more for the future!

Staying at nearby Stephen Foster State Park and decided to visit this Park on the recommendation of the Ranger. Great decision, small museum, nice monument, and the battle field hiking trail with information signs is a must hike. The Park may have tent sites; we saw an area for tent camping with electricity and a central water point but no nearby restrooms. There was information on future expansion plans that include a new and larger museum and information center. There was no Ranger on duty during our visit. The Park represents a moment in history worth knowing.

Really a very well kept up site for a small park. Informative visitor center. Clean restrooms. Great leg stretch stop with easy on and off from Interstate 10. Highly recommend. Video to come soon on our channel on YouTube.

Very historic and well maintained site. Not really enough to do for a full day, but nice for a short visit to get some exercise and historical knowledge.
