We purchased Sunburst Shutters years ago and love them. When we got our hurricane windows, Jake came out to remove the shutters before the window installation and then to replace them afterwards. Very carefully and professionally done - you can't even tell they were moved! He even fixed a wonky blade in one set that was really bothering me! Price was very reasonable.

Overall a positive experience but our installation tech was an hour late with no call to advise us on the delay.As far as the installation, it was very fast but when they cut the split into the shutters they left a piece of it so it's just this awkward pointy piece of plastic that needs to be removed. It's a small detail but I guess I just felt very meh about the experience.Update: I had them come out and do the rest of our windows and we had a great experience this time. We had a bit of a timing issue on our end and Sunburst went above and beyond to accommodate us. They checked in with us regularly to give us updates on when our product would be in and got everything done in time. They put up temporary paper blinds while they were working in other rooms for our privacy, which was honestly a really nice touch.They thanked us for being repeat customers and just made us feel valued. Would certainly recommend them to friends and family

I am new to the area. Sunburst came to measure my windows. I was advised to contact them should I have any questions and I do so. I have emailed and did not relieve a replay to date. i called the office and requested a return call my phone call has not be retuned to date. i am surprised and disappointed about this experience. I wanted shutters in our new home apparently it’s too much of a challenge to reply to an email or a return call with answers to my questions. i think it is clear they decided they did not want to provide service to my family.

Great communication when I had any questions, install on 10 shutters took less than an hour! Not only were the installers professional they arrived ahead of the scheduled time!!!!

Worst company ever. We ordered our shutters 11/2020. We are aware that it takes time to have the Shutters. We moved here from Arizona had a house three times the size of the house we are here living in in Florida. They told us it would take 13 to 16 weeks for these wonderful wooden shutters to come in. On March 2021 called the company to find out how the order was only to find out they never placed the original order in November 2020. To say the least we were infuriated. Moving forward shutters were installed June2021 only to find out the front shutters were the wrong shutters for that window. The communication with Stefano and his team members was horrible. The shutter broke. They had a technician come out to replace it only to again realize they did not have the proper tools or pieces to fix the shutter. Here we go again they say they’re going to order it and three months later still cannot tell us when the replacement parts were coming.
Never how we dealt with a company this terrible.

Highly recommend sunburst shutters. They did a nice, clean, and fast install. We love the way it looks and functions on our windows. The communication and professionalism this company displayed was top notch. Thank you sunburst !!

***BUYER BEWARE***If it was possible to give 0 stars I would. We went through Lowes for Plantation type shutters. Sunburst is the subcontractor for Lowes. They were very prompt at coming out to take measurements and to accept our payment in full. We were told 6-8 weeks for delivery but in the contract it stated 7-9 weeks. At 8 weeks we called and we’re told that there was a question on the shutters and they had not been ordered. Our natural response was, “ what’s the question and why weren’t we notified?” At 14 weeks we spoke with them again and we’re advised that it would be another 8 weeks. When we threatened to cancel the order it was shortened to 4 weeks for delivery. At 18 weeks we called them again and were told it would be 2 more months. Needless to say the order has been cancelled and Lowes has stepped up to refund our money. Sunburst is unresponsive to many of our calls. It takes 2-3 calls before we can get a return call. They use an answering service pretending to be employees. The feel I get is this is a family owned company working our of their garage. We were warned not to use Lowes for this purchase but had already had the appointment for the measurements. I can’t believe the 5 star rating that Google is showing.

Stephen came to my house, took measurements, and then I never heard from them again. I have called them every day for a month, I only get an answering service that promises they will call back, but no one does. Yesterday the person that answered, Trevor, claimed he was from the company but after a few more questions, admitted he was also from the answering service. SHAME ON YOU PEOPLE. Don't call them. You will never get your job done.

Coordinated a appointment with lowes for home visit and measurements . The sales representative from Sunburst Shutters was wonderful , he came to the house and provided great insight and a fair price . The problem came when the communication stoped from both Lowes and Sunburst Shutters . Several phone calls later we concluded we needed to look elsewhere. No trust no business . .
