This is the costs associated with trying to plan an event at the Epperson Lagoon. There is the cost of the tiki huts or other covered area along with $5 for the Mirada resident and This is the price per person,$35 (weekdays) $40 for (weekends) $25(for children 4-12) and then $5 per person to allow us to have our own catered food brought in.This is the most ridiculous pricing and it’s obvious that Epperson doesn’t want any outside events being held there.I was also told that if you are an Epperson resident you are “allowed” to use your 25 passes towards your party.I certainly hope this isn’t what we have to look forward to when our lagoon is done.I’m posting this here, because our Lagoon isn’t done and we are suppose to have the same access to the Epperson Lagoon.

The agent there was very nice and helpful; the two stars doesn't reflect her. The homes were spacious, but poor quality for the price they're asking. On the two story houses you could actually hear the floors squeaking as you walked, and those are the brand new models.

Area is up and coming. Not sure how soon it will be all built out. Homes close together. Not all amenities are open to all neighborhoods. Publix will be nice when it opens. Close to 75 for quick commutes.

Great experience visiting DR Horton as a Realtor assisting my client. Both representatives were helpful and very knowledgeable. Would happily return with all interested clients.

If I could give them a zero star, I would. I bought a house in Mirada and DR Horton does not honor their warranty. The builder uses the bare minimum quality contractor grade materials and if you try to get something fixed they claim it's "normal wear and tear". One screw holds in the light fixtures, the kitchen faucet leaks at the hole in the countertop (which they did try to fix but were not successful) and now ants have invaded the walls. The pest control company has sprayed and noted that the area between the baseboard and concrete were not sealed completely. There response? "we don't seal that but feel free to seal it yourself". There are a lot of little things that had to be fixed and we've given up putting in warranty work because there is always an excuse. This house was the biggest, most costly mistake I have ever made and if I can save just one person from making the same mistake that would be great. There are plenty of builder here so you should find on that builds a better house and stands behind their work. Don't get sucked in!
