Daniel took no accountability for his micro aggression. Despite bringing it to his attention calmly several times, Daniel chose to personalize his feeling, create a hostile situation and resorted to calling the police to “remove a black woman for trespassing”, as a first line of defense w/o any threat to his safety being present. Daniel did not uphold Verizon’s basic Credo to: Make it easy for the customers to do business with him, nor by listening, anticipating and responding to the needs of this customer. Instead, Daniel was culturally insensitive, provided deplorable customer service, and irresponsibly utilized his authority. This definitely reminded me of the Jim Crow Era in the South when African Americans were provided with a completely different customer experience than others.

Long time Verizon customer but do not normally deal with this location. I was not there to purchase anything, but just needed help in transferring my existing data plan to my new iwatch. Must have got “Daniel” on a bad day?! He was sullen, uninterested and apparently I asked too many questions because he started to lecture me. When I told him to stop he got even more unfriendly and unhelpful. Still not even sure the situation has been remedied.
My family and I will continue to deal with the Verizon store we normally deal with on 4th Street N!!

Everyone at the store was helpful, courteous and very knowledgeable. Transition to our new phones was smooth. A very good experience. Deion was the best.

Needed a new phone and Verizon offered me a great deal! Deion was very helpful, complete with his presentation of options and also multi-tasked with me and two other customers, helping each of us to get new phones and plans that fit us.

We had Daniel wait on us. Actually it was my best experience ever . I always dread going through the process of getting a new phone but he was so helpful and made it so easy.Verizon is lucky to have this gentleman working for them.
