Great gym at a convenient location downtown with accessible parking. When you walk in, you walk into a welcoming environment. I am starting to see familiar faces and also making friends. It definitely feels like a "Cheers" environment without the alcohol. Friendly, positive environment with other like minded people with fitness goals of all ages. John Hunter, the owner is professional and an excellent trainer. His staff also seem motivated and helpful. Highly recommended.

I travel a lot and life on the road can be really difficult but when searching for a gym this spot came up and all the amazing review warrant it beyond a 5 star reviewIf your in the St Pete area of Tampa area look no further for a place with an amazing staff that will make sure to take care of youBlessed and Unstoppable the motto written on the wall is something to live byNext time time in the area will definitely be back

It’s a small gym, but you can’t beat the quality and location. Staff is always welcoming and the clientele are all aware of gym etiquette. Not a dreadful place to be 3-5 times a week.

The staff is always very nice and welcoming. The equipment is well maintained and clean. They do a great job with decor and have a good amount of real plants inside adding to the positive atmosphere.

This gym is phenomenal. If you’re looking for a spot with the equipment you need to go heavy or move past your current plateau, this is it. I wish other gyms were more like this one, people are just missing out. From the owner down to the support staff, every single interaction I’ve had has been top notch.

Super clean, friendly atmosphere, nice balance of genders, nice people, light-filled, great location, helpful trainers. And shout out to owner Hunter who is a super nice guy and an excellent trainer. Best gym experience, ever. And I don't like gyms!

A clean, well equipped small gym, not overwhelmed with yuppies. Owner most patient with elderly guests unfamiliar with machinery, such as myself :)A pleasant experience.

Great local gym in downtown st pete. I came in here for a trial pass, I’m new to the area and looking to change from my La fitness membership to something local. It’s very clean; paper and spray throughout to wipe machines, not crowded AT ALL and that’s completely worth a few extra bucks every month over a big box gym. Everything standard you need is here, plus a nice selection of a few machine variations that are less common.The owner (Hunter) is actually on property as the manager and you can tell it’s run with quality in mind. Local gyms always have nice touches, better people working there, and even small things (like candles in the bathroom). Lots of natural light in several of the rooms (pretty rare in a gym) and in a great location. Showers and Lockers. Definitely recommend if you’re a gym rat. Local is the way to go !

Love this gym, people are really friendly and there’s at least two machines for almost anything. Decent amount of cardio machines too! Very clean facility and bathrooms. Membership is affordable too.

When my gym closed last December 2022, I started searching for a new one but after trying several including the Y, I gave up. Most were too crowded or out of the way. A friend turned me on to Suncoast Fitness and it's close to home, new equipment, windows everywhere so not dark and stuffy, and they take Silver Sneakers. They offer one on one training too. I joined today and enjoyed my first workout. Bonus: lots of interesting people.
