I went to the south McRae pharmacy for my Covid 19 vaccination. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They explained everything to me. The location is very convenient and the store is small but they have everything you could need. It very neat. I didn't have to wait long either. Great place to pop in too and avoid the long lines of big store pharmacies.

I walked into this pharmacy and every worker greeted me with a smile and an acknowledgement. We were treated as individuals and they took time for us. Insurance covered anything that a "big box" pharmacy would have covered. I so appreciated being treated like a human and getting to actually speak with the pharmacist. He didn't rush me along. They CARED WELL for our family. I couldn't recommend them enough. Support small business. This one is, hands down, one of the best!

Definition of a HEROhe·ro/ˈhirō/noun1. a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements or noble qualities.A true hero at Southcare Pharmacy went above and beyond for dogs in need! There are dog owners that live in depressed areas of Florida. These people love their dogs, but purchasing costly heartworm prevention is a challenge. Dogs must, must be provided heartworm prevention. 3 out of every 5 dogs our rescue organization rescues from that area are heartworm positive! Heartworm disease can be avoided, with simple monthly prevention. Our organization committed to sending compounded heartworm prevention to be distributed by the local animal control to dog owners in need at no charge. However! We needed help in mathematically calculating a mixture so that anyone can dose their dog safely, no matter the weight of the dog. This ordeal is time consuming and thought intensive. MARK at SOUTHCARE came through for us! He took his time, his intelligence and it came from his heart! Mark, because of you countless dogs will not suffer heartworm disease. MARK: The true definition of HERO! THANK YOU, MARK! THANK YOU, SOUTHCARE!!

I have been getting my prescription's filled at Southcare for many years and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. I use to go to bigger chain pharmacy's in the past and in those national chains I encountered all sorts of issues, from poor attitudes to rude clerks. I have even had my health issues brought up and discussed in front of other customers. I have never had any of these issues at Southcare, Carly and Mark are highly professional and the staff they have are all friendly and go to great length's to make certain you have everything you need. It's a bit of a "small town" feel in the middle of the city.
