I recently needed to get some helium balloons that I purchased online blown up. I pulled up the first Publix number that came up and asked how much it would cost to get eighteen balloons inflated since I couldn't find a definitive answer online. She asked what size, I gave her the dimensions from the package, and she quoted me $1.50 per balloon. She mentioned nothing about material of the balloon or what air was being used to inflate.When I got to this Publix on Central, I went to the produce section and asked an employee to direct me to someone for balloons. He said he could do it and took the balloons from me and walked to a "Publix Associates Only" area of the store. Other than what color ribbon I wanted, he didn't ask any questions or go over any pricing information with me. He then disappeared for approximately 30-45 minutes, blowing up the balloons. The amount of time it took wasn't the issue, but my inability to access him to ask questions was frustrating.After he tied them up, he went to the register and came back with a barcode sticker. Only then did he disclose to me that it was going to be "kind of expensive" because it was actually $3.99 per balloon and so the total with tax was going to be $80. I was by no means prepared to pay that amount of money for just INFLATING balloons that I had already purchased, especially after having that initial phone call. Obviously, after he explained why helium costs more I understood, but if I had known the cost difference beforehand I wouldn't have gotten all eighteen of them inflated.I explained to him the phone call I had earlier and he asked who I spoke to. I said I couldn't remember the name but it was someone in produce. I pulled up the number and it turns out it was to another local Publix in the area. He said since it was their store who actually blew the balloons up, they didn't have to honor the other store's price quote. I asked him what we would do if I could not pay for them, and he did not give me any other option.I ended up paying double what I had planned on spending based on my initial phone call and I am unhappy with my overall experience. Regardless of the Publix I called, I was given improper information and I would have adjusted the amount of balloons if I had known the extreme cost difference. I never ever leave reviews but I am so upset I spent $80 on air.

The deli was recommended by a friend so we decided to pick up some sandwiches on our way back to the hotel. The store itself was clean and beautiful and located in a very nice area; however, this review solely lies with our customer service experience with Hunter in the Deli Dept. Hunter was not very friendly and it appeared as they were closing up the deli for the night. When I walked up to the counter I greeted him and asked if they were closing and he said no (no greeting from him nor asked what he could get us). I told him my order and he did not smile once nor make eye contact. My friend placed his order and same thing. Hunter looked like he did not want to be there and appeared irritated by having customers (us). I understand if he was tired and had a long day and ready to go home, but he is in customer service and should treat customers better. As for the sandwiches, they use Boarhead meats and were very good, better than Subway and have higher quality ingredients. Prices were right under 10 bucks for a footlong and filling.

This place is pretty small but the layout of the store is fairly well thought out and so seem to it all ... From what I can tell the staff is also very friendly ...

I can't complain about the service, I didn't get any. High prices and no customer service to compensate. This place has some rude and unhappy employees. They blot out the kind, conscientious people there. Just saying.

Very convenient for the downtown crowd! Easy parking in the garage and huge elevators to put your cart in and get your groceries in your car. We love this place for its convenience!

Gang stalking is really strongly prevent specifically at this location. Religiously, I get followed by groups I do not know. I'm working hard on notifying the employees I need help with this. The gang stalking got so bad that they had to turn to the police, and the situation got so bad that the police could not handle the situation. I think it keeps going back to the fact that I think people are trying to socialize with me and the local gangs don't want to let people that would be my friend socialize with me. The gangs are very into controlling my life and keeping tabs on me.

that's a pretty decent store though a bit pricey, I really enjoyed and the staff is very nice and helpful, products are pretty good. pretty well located too

DO NOT USE THE BAKERY!!! i ordered a cake for my 22nd birthday and it looks nothing like the picture and it was supposed to be a very simple cake. very disappointing.

I had a wonderful experience at Publix grocery store. Their diverse product selection, including fresh produce and pantry essentials, was impressive. Competitive prices and a well-organized store added to the positive experience. However, what truly stood out was the exceptional customer service. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to assist. Whether helping me find items or offering recommendations, their professionalism was evident. Shopping at Publix was a pleasure, and I'm excited to make it my go-to grocery store. I wholeheartedly recommend it for a very top-notch shopping experience!
