Coming from the northeast, we love this place and go as often as we can BUT, even here, you have to check the dates on products. I purchased a piece of $10 blue cheese on Saturday 4/27, opened it Sunday and it looked funky. I checked the label and the sell by date was 4/7. I was really surprised, with all the people that work in the cheese department, that this would happen. We didn’t have time to bring it back on Monday. Just a word of caution for an otherwise amazing place with great food.

This place is a hidden gem. Great coffee, dessert, sandwiches, etc. it’s crowded but for a good reason.

Great store with everything you could think of Italian , from a butcher with great variety, to a cheese and wine room , a dessert bar , hot foods section , and freshly made pastas daily! It took almost 30 minutes to look at all the pasta varieties and I still didn’t see all of the options ! HIGHLY recommend to go on a weekday or as soon as they open on the weekend. It gets horribly busy and there is barley any room to walk in the right aisles and waiting for the hot foods or dessert on the weekend is at least 20 to 30 minutes each . Would highly recommend if you go on Saturday to arrive before the store opens as there will be a line, and the bakery is the first place to go as it is the busiest section in the whole store .

Been shopping here for more than 40 years. Loved it when it was small, but it has stayed true to itself with the amazing growth. A Tampa Bay treasure that is probably unparalled.

Awesome food, great place. Just avoid Saturday. The pastries and bread were awesome. The freshmade mozzarella was phenomenal! If you need italian ingredients, spices, cheeses, breads, get it all here!
