I can't speak highly enough of this place. If you enjoy history this is an absolute must. Truly a place where you can spend an entire day just browsing in awe. Can't wait to go back!

A wonderful place run by wonderful people! I brought my dad as part of a road trip through Florida. We went in looking for Carl Hiaasen and found so much more! Plenty of first editions, signed, antique, and more modern works. Will be back whenever we are in the area ?

Lighthouse Books is a family owned and operated book shop that has served book lovers of the Tampa Bay region for more than forty years. We have recently moved to larger quarters in Dade City. We specialize in Florida History and Americana, but carry a broad range of general and second-hand books, and a small gallery of prints and maps.
