Ice Cold Air: Exceptional Service Beyond Expectations!
I recently took my 2018 Honda Civic Sport to Ice Cold Air in St. Petersburg, FL, due to air-conditioning issues. Pete and his team did an outstanding job diagnosing the problem, identifying the need for a new AC compressor. They replaced it promptly, and I left happy, but soon after, I noticed a strange noise from the new OEM part.
I brought my car back, and the team found the part to be defective. Without hesitation, they performed a warranty replacement at no charge. However, my AC still wasn’t staying cold. This is where Pete’s dedication to customer service truly shined. He personally handled the situation, involving an in-depth diagnostic evaluation of the equipment, my vehicle, and the replacement parts.
After days of their own time and effort, they discovered that the OEM compressor which required a critical charge of the new R-1234YF refrigerant was somehow dropping just a nanogram. Pete and his lead tech went above and beyond, swapping out the compressor a third time and recharging the refrigerant to the exact specifications +1 nanogram. Now, my AC is as cold as it was the day I bought the car new—so cold, it’s frigid!
I cannot express enough how satisfied I am with the work they did. The professionalism and courtesy I received from Pete and his team were top-notch. In fact, I was so impressed that I had them service the engine cooling system on my 20-year-old Nissan Xterra as soon as I picked up my Honda.

No such thing as check a/c for free, they told me what I already knew,it didn’t blow cold, that was my free a/c inspection. Then they said nicely, for $190 they could find out why it’s not blowing cold. Ice Cold Air said my a/c freon was a 1lb low, which was a lie,and they had to let it out and refill it to find out why the a/c isn’t blowing cold. They diagnose a/c problems for a fee and that’s what they should advertise

NOPE
Went in for an AC check, was told "we saw you have a weak comporessor and the cultch just spins and doesnt engage until the RPM's go up" said regarding a clutchless compressor.... after being told of the $1600 bill to fix, and that there was only one compressor left in the state for my vehicle, and that by next week this cost would easliy balloon to "dealer prices" I Unfortunatelywas not able to cover the cost and had to decline the repair at this time. So I was told to come pick up the vehicle. I started driving home and noticed the distinct smell of antifreeze. Then the "low coolant" warning light came on. This vehicle has never had an issue in the past several years with the coolant or any such leak, but somehow it has suddenly developed a severe leak. ....
Upon picking up the vehicle no paperwork regarding the compressor or this new found leak was given. I take full responisibilty for not asking for documentation at the time but was in a pinch of time to get back to work. After calling they said I could come and pick up the paperwork that said "severe coolant leak" athough this was not a problem before visiting the shop.... you connect the dots as you see fit.....
Trust your gut, dont do it.

Pay $200 for a recharge and some Freon and the car still doesn’t work. They still didn’t know the problem.Do not take your car there you will waste your money

Absolutely awesome experience. I’ve had the worst luck with mechanics so I was a little worried. They were so honest and kinda, just wonderful. Patrick was great, helpful and took his time explaining everything. I will for sure only use them from now on.

My first and last experience here . I went to get a oil change they put way too much oil and then I went back so they could take some out over 2 quarts and it wasn’t even filled to the minimum I’m just glad my oil light came on and it didn’t cause major issues . I do not recommend ?
